They are not laggy for him, but he has a really powerful PC --- Post updated --- This has a Jbeamed steering wheel lol, it really doesn't add much complexity, 3 nodes and 9 beams
The normal and simplified version of the Classic, both equally laggy lol. He should do something like the devs did with the new traffic cars.
I have said it many times that some of my mods even lagg for me, and yes sometimes I go a bit overboard with my JBeam work, I just want it to deform and fall apart nicely BTW great job on this lego mod Agent_Y, looks pretty cool Do you plan to have some sort of suspension (I have seen lego bricks with small steel springs on them long ago. keep up the great work.
Progress update 03: Fixed the issues with the car's roof clipping and getting stuck in the glass, which could be seen in one of the videos. Fixed all console errors I could find, should have checked those earlier probably. The rear bumper would cause lots of errors on some configs and the widebody sideskirts also had issues. But now everything works as intended. Tested and finetuned the dummy. Surprisingly, unlike the old minifigure, it didn't have any issues with parts of it getting stuck in car parts. Might be thanks to simpler geometry, it's more square-ish. I did a lot of testing on the dummy. This includes standard crash testing on Gridmap... Rollover testing... Traffic crash testing... EXTREME crash testing... But it handled all of these really well with not much finetuning needed to get the expected results. I really like how in some hard crashes it gets flung out of the car, even though on some of them the 'seatbelts' somehow manage to hold up. And as promised before 0.26, I recorded a video showcasing the dummy animation. Kinda rushed but will do.
That would be way more tricky, with the way the Technic pieces detach. Would be cool to have but I'm not planning to make one.
Progress update 04: Added some alternative cartoony facial expressions for the dummy Added crash test skin (colorable)
