Rust likes to grow in bends, on edges, along creases etc. It only appears on main flat surfaces (as streaks or spots) if it gets reeeeeally bad.
Another way of skin would be to research the actual rust prone spots on these cars and put rust skin there, it would be realistic, of course if they rusted as a whole then it's damn realistic lmao
holy moly!!! no way! it actually got a revamp im downloading right now! edit: bit of a bug report, maybe its something on my end idk: the color is completely matte, it aint glossy
I noticed your paint materials are matte when they're supposed to be glossy. I did some digging and came up with this solution: A few missing texture maps for the second layer Also worth noting: The extras material does not need a basecolor map in the second layer since that already uses an opacity map. I removed it in the image above.
you can remove the base color map for the body? shouldn't that make all the non-colorable stuff have no color (chrome bits etc.)? --- Post updated --- Thanks, I got that matte problem fixed by adding roughness and metallicity map to the second layer as indicated. I have no clue why this problem showed up only now.
the remaster of this amazing car was probably the last thing I expected downloading this masterpiece right now!
idea: actually be online instead of only saying anything once in a blue moon. --- Post updated --- its been remasted yet the hubcaps still dont work, the textures are still awful, and various other issues.
Oi, considering the model and texture are self-made from scratch, what the author achieved it's rather impressive. Instead of acting entitled and rude, provide constructive feedback the author can use to improve the mod further. Cheers
Love it, have been looking for a Czech car/50s minivan. Only suggestion is, maybe replace thumbnails. I like it when there all the same. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I got that matte problem fixed by adding roughness and metallicity map to the second layer as indicated. hm it's not supposed to look like that. Hubcaps have been remapped a bit, I think you might be seeing an older version of the model (UV) clashing with the newer version of the texture (or vice versa)? Nobody else reported this problem...
Consider that some people actually have a life and don't have time to stay on the forum 24 hours a day like you do. Also consider yourself lucky that Nadeox only verbally warned you when he had power to give you a stricter punishment for saying this.
You caught me in the act of updating it --- Post updated --- So...update. Hopefully I didn't break anything while at it, I tried to fix the following: headlights - I repurposed the Autobello headlight texture. I also figured that there's really no need to have damaged and undamaged version of the diffuse texture, normal and opacity can take care of the business of the broken texture I also fixed the slight transparency bug on broken windows, when there would be a very faint remnant of the semi transparent window. I used alphaTest setting together with alphaRef value of 10. Let me know if you still encounter this bug somewhere. not sure, but someone complained about the taillights being too dark. Try now? I think the contrast between on and off is enough... removable engine cover. The inside of the car is pretty permeable (despite having triangles everywhere), so the engine cover kinda falls through stuff in collisions :/ added triangles to the flatbed bed, oriented inside. You can put rocks inside and as far as I tested it, they don't fall out. While at it, I fixed some triangles on windows. I will look at the triangles further. Added more factory colors. Let me know if you want to see a specific color in there. I'll continue working on it and fixing stuff.
Nice update, but the rear lights of the flatbed looked a little...pale? Looks like it's aftermarket tho xD

Sorry for making you download it again and again :/
