Released RK's Highly Customizable Engine (Now V8!) 4.2.2

but to make a universal transmission that fits every car doesn't work i think

 

This requires making several customizable transmissions with adjustable gear ratios.
I remember there used to be such a mod.

 

Got it working other than that. But I think it will not work for every mod car with numberplate design slot. It won't override the engine

 

I set the supercharger engage to 4000 rpm I think, and didnt touch the disengage

 

i think you set the disengage at 4k, because the supercharger disengage itself at 4krpm. try the other slider

 

sorry, meant engage and disengage to be the other way around.

 

Very nice mod, but I have a suggestion: Make the "Diesel Turbocharger" behave like the T-Series or the Vanilla Diesel V8 for the D-Series, where they slowly lose their RPM and Boost, I noticed that it already does that when using Journal Bearing, but still too fast, maybe add a adjustable friction bearing ? Or just increase the general friction ? I don't know, but I do like the new Diesel V8....I6 next ?

Can you make a single cylinder and an inline 2? This would be awesome if you could.

You can use AngeTheGreat's engine simulator! Look up some tutorials on YT.

I informed myself and i saw there is even a tool to export it for beamng... xD
Someone else already released a mod 2 days ago with engines with those sounds. For my taste its a little too dull, i will try to edit it and if i like it, i maybe will try to make a I1 and/or I2.

Very nice update!
But for some reason when i'm building an 2.1L Diesel engine with 136hp there is only 200nm and it supposed to be 360, any idea how i can fix this?

Could just be mods conflicting, but no engines show up for me on the newer pessima , I’ll deactivate them and check again

 

are you using the stock body? If it doesn't work with normal body deactivate every mod expect this one and try again. if it doesn't show try to reinstall it or clear cache

 

How could I go about making my 1.6 diesel not break after turning it off?
