So about the doors, I've been able to make them work in the upcoming Peugeot 205, but since it's based on the remastered Covet, which has those as standard, it was just a matter of adjusting some values here and there...will keep trying on both this and the 4Runner. Anyway, in the meantime, here's something @dumpling and I have been working this week, not only he has revamped yet again the air suspension system, but also to celebrate the 40th config in the mod, here's something special! The Land Rover Experience™ config, now available : -Fully revised air suspension with a completely new setup applied (Thanks to @dumpling) -New indicator sounds from the Bastion (thanks to CarTMatt @ Discord) -New indicator stalk sounds (thanks to CarTMatt @ Discord) -Completely new V8 soundtrack with a a DSE update that enables different exhaust settings (thanks to CarTMatt @ Discord) -Added "Land Rover Experience™" config including all new parts below (config inspiration idea goes to @GBorge98 and @TMccanna) -Broken D250 Engine (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Diesel Transmission (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Front Air Suspension (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Front Brakes (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Fuel Tank (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Gauges -Broken Headlight -Broken Rear Right Door (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Steering (Thanks to @dumpling) -Broken Taillight -Broken Windshield
Since there is still no thread for it, and since some people were caught by surprise by the fact, yes, the next vehicle in the pipeline is the Peugeot 205, again, sourced from Forza Horizon 5. This is the current progress: I shall be posting updates in the development pictures thread and in the official Discord, and as I did with the 4Runner, no thread will be created for it until a first release is ready. Since it's based on the remastered Covet, it benefits from new features like working odometer and openable doors, and yet again, still trying to figure out how to implement that in the Defender and 4Runner...if I'm able at all. As for the elephant in the room, already addressed at this point, the T16 is definitely something I would love to add, not only Forza has the right model, but the remastered Covet provides the necessary drivetrain meshes and jbeams for such a car. The thing is, the differences between the regular 205 and the T16 are extensive, so very little of the car in the picture can be used...so it would mean doing 2 entire cars for 1 mod, which is definitely a big task, so for the moment, no promises here. Anyway, back to the thread!
the front right indicator doesn't work on the premium lights on the latest version with me on my game
this vehicle is going to be very good, I really like the peugeot, honestly I prefer 4x4 off road vehicles, but you can have a lot of fun with this one.
