Clickable vehicle regions highlight randomly

    This has been happening since the previous major version and still happening in 0.24. On some vehicles that have interactive parts such a gate that can be clicked open, the region gets highlighted when the camera passed through some angles even though the mouse cursor is hidden and off to a side.

    This is still an issue with the latest build on those vehicles that have openable doors, trunks and hoods, like the new Covet.

    With the "latest build"? You mean last update? It has happened to me ever since triggers were added. Especially visible on the Gavril Vertex mod because it has lots of triggers.

    Triggers is visible when its in center of the screen. It was ever when triggers was implemented. It works for gamepad users.

    But can't the game just check if you are not using a pad and disable them? Also it often just glitches out and stays on screen forever but not clickable, especially when you are looking from outside of the car at a trigger in the interior

    Yes, that's when it happens. It's undesirable when using a mouse (in my case, keyboard, mouse and wheel).
