after doing the funny and brightening a screenshot of the video a bit it definetely looks like a more modern sort of body design, probably gonna be either a new d-series or another brand's truck hopefully it's a full on trophy truck too rather than just another prerunner
I remember back when the D-Series superbuild was still WIP Ferretank mentioned that he had interest in some day getting a "crazier" rig in game. I'm guessing that's what this is; a ground up tube frame truck. That body looks purpose made to me, opposed to being modified from a street truck. If it is a ground up tube frame rig then it may be an important precedent for content not based on road cars.
As much as i would love another Pickup i think its just gonna be purpose build and besides the Drivetrain which it will almost certainly borrow from the D-Series there will not be another road vehicle
Interesting direction that the devs are taking, a modern purpose built trophy truck? Could be very fun to drive but I can't help but feel it may be disappointing for people who just want to cruise around in slow(er) cars
Looks like a dedicated offroad chassis to me for sure, but that begs the question- will there be a standard road-going pickup to go with it or not? Vehicles can only be made so fast, so whatever vehicles get added should be versatile, especially if we're considering career mode. It seems like a waste of time to develop an entirely new vehicle that can only do one thing- Looking at you, Wentward.
so since they added proper hydraulics and the remaster of the k-series how far fetched would electrics for a convertible be ? and the new truck looks sick so far *forgot to add convertible there
I already gave up hope after this teaser. We have a Prerunner and getting yet another one instead of set focus on remasters is not a good move to me. But hey, Content.
