Serious question about powertrain, because the IRL equivalent was iffy on powertrain depending on application. Do you plan to just use the D-series engines and add a few of your own? I know of 2 specific diesel mods, duramax and cummins, that would fit great into something like this, might be worth getting ahold of them! If this has been covered before I haven't seen it, so sorry if I missed it lol
It will use the typical Gavril engines, with a unique 8.5L V10 and a new 7.1L Diesel I6 by a separate brand. All of the existing Gavril V8s will be available, though I can’t imagine the 5.5 will be used in many configs, and the 4.5 in any.
The powertrain plans were made long ago, it uses D-series 6.9 V8, 6.0 diesel V8 and an 8.5 V10 based on a similar construction. I don't want to mix in any irl brands so I'm offering an optional 7.1L diesel on the large models under the Phineas brand name. More details TBA Ps: I don't mind answering questions like this repeatedly as long as they are with proper, good intent. Some people unfortunately see "truck" and go "woah", and experience neuron activation and have a need to comment something random. So please keep the questions sensible and I'll do my best to answer as many as I can
I'm sorry but... I expected to say this before. Your signature. 1. They can't do actual cars because licensing. 2. Bugatti Bolide! 3. Civetta Bolide or Scintilla (based on) or some real mods then.
It's a joke lol. It says every 6 year old who bought the game at the bottom. I know they can't do it lol.
It's looking great, I can definitely see myself spending hours on this whenever you feel ready to release it. I do have to ask though, are you planning on adding support for the new hydraulic pump system or are you keeping the uplifts similar to how they work on the D/H-Series?
D/H series upfits stay as D/H series, anything custom will be as up to date as possible. This also means no opening doors until the D-series gets it however I'm looking into openable hood/similar things
Very nice. And yeah, a facelift definitely does make sense for the time period which this truck takes up.
