Helicopter/Air vehicle problem.

So recenty (By recently i mean a week ago ) I was playing around with the blackhawk. This was the first time i downloaded it. Looked really cool! so i shifted into manual, and presses X once. It shifted weird, and acted as automatic and went all the way up to 11. when i press X it goes down to 3, then 2, then neutral. This is with any helicopter so far (Any air vehicle i guess) Im using a Roccat isku gaming keyboard, and it works great with any land vehicles. Please help as i want to fly properly D:

 

Yeah it seems I can't even hover the bell 407, because it wont switch to manual..

OP: I think it's a problem with the new update, (experimental) The JBeam I don't think has been updated for the pre-race.

 

The issue is due to the current air vehicle mods (any helicopters or airplanes that rely on shifting gears to control engine speed) not being updated for the pre-race update.
Because the automatic and manual shifting system was changed, the vehicles no longer switch to operating in manual mode correctly.

It would likely be possible to change them to work with the new update with a few minor JBeam changes, but that's just my conjecture.

 

In most of the aircraft threads various people (including myself) have already posted fixed JBeams. I know that I certainly uploaded onto the bell and blackhawk threads.

 

Think i can get any links or instructions on how? im using the steam version BTW.

 

How do we get a helicopter, im new to this game?
