I made this thread to start a discussion about GTA V. GTA V will have working interiors for next gen and PC. Anyone excited for that?
That thread's been dead for a year now. I'd rather have a new one. OT: GTA online is fun, but people are shit. Seriously. I had to sell my house in Vinewood Hills and buy the Route 68 garage because I couldn't get out of my garage without getting blown up by some moron in a tank. Then I had all of Blaine County to myself I don't play anymore now. I'm waiting for the PC release because mods.
I'm waiting for the PC release because better graphics, better FPS, new animals (including cats ), new cars, some other exclusive content, and of course first person view.
i'm also looking forward to the pc release, for both mods, and of course that amazing sounding first person mode
I'm conflicted whether or not to use a controller or the keyboard/mouse. The controller would be very nice for the cars, but I prefer mouse and keyboard for combat scenarios. Especially if there will be a first person mode.
I've played the PS3 version, the controller was pretty disappointing with cars, since it's kind of binary like a keyboard. You either turn full left or full right.
Sounds like a hassle. What happens when you need to make a quick get away? Frantically reach for the controller and hope to get to it in time? I don't know. I'll probably try a controller to see how it fares then if I don't like it I can switch. I'm not totally incompetent with a controller when it comes to shooters (I've played third and first person shooters on console for over 10 years so it shouldn't be hard adjusting to GTA V). It's just some shooters/first person games have really poor controller support. Don't get me started on Skyrim. Skyrim on console was torture to play with a controller.
The first person view hasnt been confirmed. Those cached pages have been faked before (and there was a faked one for GTAIV)
I really can't wait for the whole first person stuff GTA always was in third person yet (Not counting GTA 1 and 2 which had the bird/helicopter view), it will be something new and quite unusual for the whole GTA Series. I really hope they do it correctly.
Yes it sorta was confirmed. In the GTAV PC trailer there is a shot of a inside of a car (probably Felon- is driven straight afterwards) and you can see Michael driving it, with the tacho and speedo needles moving how the car sped up, and the overall interior was very hi-poly. Rockstar would not show that in their official trailer just for fun. EDIT: at ~0:55
I haven't played it yet, been waiting for a PC release. PS3 gathering more dust these days. Can't wait really. My first impressions of the game will be it exactly as it was meant to be played.
First person overall would be cool for RPers or people who just want more reallism. Still excited for first person driving
