Hello, I am working on a Formula 3 mod, and I wanted to implement an electric version to it. Thing is, electric makes no sound, and the car just feels slow and unfinished without any sound (except the engine sound ofc). I have been trying to implement a gear whine sound (just like for real electric racing cars), but I cannot find a way to make this work. I encountered one problem: I had the idea of adding a one gear transmission, to make it whine, but it just won't work with electric engines. Do you guys have any ideas?
Tell me if this is dumb and ignorant, but why not just make the engine sound into a gear whine sound? Nobody has to know that the engine is making the noise and not the gearbox
That's a good idea, but I tried it and it doesn't recognize the whine loop as an engine sample. I can still probably mod a whining sound, but that would be 10x more job I guess
