I beg to differ as well. Variety isn't bloat. It's much better to have variety than 100+ custom parts and having 2 stock configs to have you equip them all yourself.
Sure, that in theory it sounds good, but in reality it won't help the vehicle fit in with the stock BeamNG vehicle (lore) and how they're set up. Not to mention that it really just makes it look unfinished.

 

I must just have a different playstyle than others, but I much prefer configuring my own vehicles. I mean it is one of the main points of the game...

Many others as well. If you really have such a problem with it you have options: use it the way it is, remove the configs yourself so you don't have to deal with it or just don't use it.

Not really, I also preffer making my own configs than using ones that were already made. Also you're right, when a mod adds/has a big quantity of configs it makes the vehicle selector messy.
