Update Speculation thread

I expect the next update to happen near Christmas, since it somehow works as a "gift" for the players.

Well, every year has a update on December, like 0.15 in 2018, 0.18 in 2019, 0.21 in 2020, 0.24 in 2021, and 0.27 in 2022.

And every start of the year we play the December version of last year, then we have three updates released in the year or four as it was in 2018, this year it was:
January - June: 0.24
June - September: 0.25
September - December: 0.26
December - (probably) March 2023: 0.27

 

What is even the point on speculating when/if an update will happen, it's game development, it'll either come when you expect it or it won't. They do seem pretty consistent but it feels like the last update just happened so it's hard to say. Is speculating on content not more interesting then speculating on dates over and over and over?
