They’re seriously just teasing vague details of lots of things so we know nothing yet lots of things at once. A q and a would be very nice right now.

moonhawk nascar/v8 supercar when it gets the remaster treatment

 

it wouldn't make sense for this to be anywhere else than in the US or in Mexico. It's got an imperial gas station.

 

My guess is Texas, because Australia doesn't necessary have oil, and also the fact they mostly make maps of countries where the car manufacturers are from

Well damn, i was proven wrong. there was a teaser today.

 

This new map will be set in Texas I'm calling it

 

Mexico would make sense with all the Baja racing type content we've been getting. And the Baja 1000 started today...

 

being from the subcontinent, i can tell you our gas station are nowhere near that big. this is US or NZ for sure, the gas prices dont mean much

edit: also why the hell would a foreign gas station charge in western currency instead PKR etc

 

These new teasers would sure be a nice way to announce that WCUSA is getting its very well needed expansion to make it far more feature rich. I said it once and ill say it again, they "watered down the soup" a little too much with that map.

 

Isn't there a default desert map in Rigs Of Rods? What if this was a remake, or an hommage to this map actually?

 

While a map set in Texas that isn’t just derby arenas would be cool, it would be interesting to see more maps that aren’t set in the US

 

It uses the 9/10 gallon counting unit for the fuel though, so my guess is it's yet another American map (not that I have a problem with this though because my love about the way BeamNG represents anything American is well known in here)!

 

this looks more midwest USA to me.

 

The prospect alone of getting a new map is always exciting, but I will admit I'm going to feel a little let down if its the US once again or Mexico. If it were Mexico, it feels like it'd just be riding on the success of FH5. That is not to discredit this map though if it is in Mexico, as it will all be unique work anyway just drawing from the same inspiration.

 

Yeah, imagine a Hopper with this livery, along with the Jurassic Park one!

 

if its a new part of the USA i don't mind. We need an official, expansive semi-arid american desert that doesn't have a ring road around it like Utah. There you never really feel in the middle of nowhere.

 

All I hope for is that it's a fairly flat map with a city as well as outskirts types of areas, and hopefully 4km x 4km because if so, this would make an absolutely amazing RP map, great for police chases, trucking, a bit of everything.
