Why not? More variety in structures/billboards/race car sponsor skins/etc... is always nice

Why not? One of the game's most characteristic features is its fictional lore of companies, brands and brand models, so it's always good when it gets expanded!

 

Yeah, the vehicles, companies and cities are fictional (ecept Moab and Richfield). I like this in BeamNG, and also in GTA.

But If the New Map is not on the USA, is on some Mexican State next to the border Mexico and United States.

I’m also surprised at how unpredictable these teasers are coming out as I really didn’t expect another teaser already. Also it’s nice that the teasers recently are all different and not just teasers of cars.

 

Yeah, three teasers in 1 week and 1 day's time. It's almost as often as we were getting Scintilla content just before it was released lol.

 

Only reason I would think it couldn't be Mexico is that they sell gas there by the liters instead of gallons, and the price average for a liter of gas is about 24.03 MXN right now. But who knows!

 

tbh I don't really see the point in another place based on cali since west coast exists and beam hasn't really had overlapping areas. i think its gonna be a Mexico-ish location, however personally Ive been not sick but tired? of all the NA locations, would like to see more Europe, Asia and Australia since it would be nice having more diversity in location.

 

Could be nice if they add the dinosaur as also a meshe for the Unycicle Character.

 

I agree that maps from countries/continents beamng hasn't done yet would be cool (assuming this supposed new map is from north america) but if it offers something that the other beamng levels dont, then im perfectly fine with that.

 

I adore the concept art of the fuel station, however, if this is a teaser of a new map, it really let me down to be honest, as I expected a more exotic location that is not set in the America (obviously, the map will be gorgeous and well-done) considering that we rarely getting new official maps, not to mention a bigger variety of environments. Although, the fuel prices are American, it might also be placeholders, so I hope that it is something other than USA, for e.g. Mexico, South Africa.

 

Doesn't Mexico use the metric system?

 

I think that we'll be better off with this map in the long term, as I think it's likely that it's a large 4km by 4km map, it will be a very multipurpose and usable map for all kinds of things, as opposed to a more immediately interesting but less usable map in the long term, being exotic and reasonably single purposed. If we get a map in that area of the US, and it's big, it'll be perfect for so many scenarios, whether trucking, police chases, general RP, or a huge number of other things.

Sure, maybe we are getting even bigger map this time, and like you said maybe with more interesting things to do, although my main concern is not that it will be not beautiful, jaw-dropping or interesting map, but the fact that we kind of have a large representation of America (Not even North America) and barely anything European, South American, Australian or African.

 

Its nice to speculate on map, for a change. As old times like "Wheeeeen Updyte" post times

 

Yeah, it will be perfect, I make BeamNG Drive Movies, so I hope that this map be so much big for make a movie on it.
