Update Speculation thread

I just hope we get another map with some moderately smooth roads and insane sprint potential with lots of fun routes one can come up with

 

This reminds me of early teleportation that we had in some modded maps, would not be a bad idea for an "infinite" highway

 

Except with AI

Looks to me like it's sharing a lot of assets from Small Island
This is a stretch, but maybe this is an offroad-focused incarnation of DRI?

Still looks like a drawing but at least we see it at a different angle. Also for some reason I feel like this one is a bit less detailed than the other drawing, so maybe this drawing was actually made first but not posted till now?

The teaser photos have never been photoshopped.

 

I don’t know how to upload a picture in here (lol) but when somebody said that the car on the picture is either the truck or the Autobello Buggy, Leeloo denied… does that me there is another car or at least another off-road config for sth coming?

 

Something irrelevant: I love the ambience of the newer gas station teaser picture. It's got that dramatic sunset fuel commercials had in the 80s and 90s. When I saw the picture, I instantly imagined it with this slow electronic bass beat in the background.

Also, man, the new Prerunner looks lit!!

 

All of the teasers for the new map seem to be focusing on the gas station, and the gas station was a pretty big landmark for DRI.

 

They usually do this when the update is near... Maybe even this month?

 

On second thought it might be the way the image is compressed since I am viewing this on my phone currently. Could also be the sign textures baked since this is still wip

 

This looks more like the Piccolina buggy to me
