Update Speculation thread

Yep, they line up really good. But for better air flow, the door and quarter panels need to be redesigned a bit for exposing the whole front surface of the intercoolers.

 

I don't know if it has already been discussed but might tires termals also mean tire pressure change in real time? I say so because it would make sense with the new off-road vehicles.
It might also be impossible to implement tho, idk

 

I Thought the SBR already had intercoolers, but I can't remember it now, but if it doesn't have, would be a nice addition for sure, the flat engines are one of my favorites from the game, these flat 4s in the Sunburst as well are awesome (thanks to modders)

Also, Sunburst need a rework ASAP, engine model looks so outdated compared to other ones, take the flat 4 and stuff it in there.

SBR needs more customization

 

It's not, TrackpadUser did it with his trackfab brawler and i think he's a dev now, so air pressure changes in real time are very possible

 

Tire pressure already changes a little bit in game, but not temperature dependent yet (I use the Scintilla GT3 mod and on the panel you can see it change around 1 PSI depending on what the car is doing)

 

The SBR definitely has intercoolers.

Yeah, I don't use it very often anymore and dont't remember and I'm at work and can't check it, thank you!

 

lets make bobbleheads collectible and hide them around the official maps with different themes
like a Monolith one, a lobster for ECUSA, a hirochi badge for the Hirochi raceway, etc etc

 

Thats honestly a prime idea!
Would give players a reason to drive around and explore all maps really carefully to find them.

It never had intercoolers. Neither in the depicted position, nor in the classic one we know from Subaru cars (which is above the engine)!
Plus, the Flat engines in the Sunburst open the window for that classic intercooler placement because the Sport RS version already has a big hood scoop!

 

And a Steam achievement for collecting all of them.

Each interior would need to have a couple of different positions for them (i.e. on top of the dashboard, inside the cup holders, on the parcel shelf)

 

I hope devs look at these cars with love for the remasters, Hirochi needs desperatly more customization and a Brand characteristic

Exactly. Hirochi needs a certain brand identity and a certain role (or some certain roles, since modern cars are multifaceted) in the BeamNG lore and it already has one ingredient to help it carve its niche in that direction: the Flat engines. And, compared to Ibishu, it's a small brand too, so a small brand being unique always helps in that respect!

 

Also why not make it career mode exclusive feature with a certain reward after collecting it

 

So, probably SBR remaster ? If so, maybe we'll get Sunburst remaster with it ?
So many things teased in so little time...

 

I really get the feeling they staffed up a little.
I dont think they would tease so many content if it would be more than one update ahead.

 

I think lobster is expensive, so it is more appropriate to the WCUSA. An apple pie would fit the ECUSA better.
