Update Speculation thread

You are right, the current US based maps are pretty good and offer a diversity of environments to drive around. I like them a lot. My point is not to complain about US maps in general but that we already have 3 official maps based there and with a newer one that would make 4. I would like to see other parts of the world as well. There are tons of places to choose from depending on the environment wanted. Want deserts? Afrika, South America or Australia offer that. Want Mountains? Many other places offer that too. Want cities or jungles or forests? There are so many options.

 

Luckily the devs are awesome and whether it is a US map or not it will be a great map, I'm sure

I disagree on this one, there are wonderful map mods, saldy many without scenarios but for freeroam are the best, i play 95% or more of the game with car and map mods

 

I don’t find many, if any, map mods that are super good except @Bifdro ’s, his are awesome

 

yes i agree, there are too few and there are some that are a bit pointless/ too small and could be part of a larger mod, hirochi raceway, cliffs and small island could be part of a larger one for example

 

Oh, I still love it. I’m still finding new areas on ECUSA lol (yes found the monolith awhile back)

 

i dont use any from him but i wait for his isla rocciosa, my favourites are passo stelvio, american road (which has it all), beam mountains, mount danger, all maps from DuneWulff and like 20 or more scattered on the forums, vanilla can't compete with that but it's understandable it's just a ton of work on every map and if it were vanilla it whould need to have scenarios and other stuff reworked every update
