WHAT IS IT WITH KIDS USING OUTDATED VERSIONS? BUY THE BLOODY GAME ON STEAM OR HUMBLEBUNDLE! YOU CANT GET ANYTHING FOR FREE!!!

 

I just wanna know what awful websites they're using to get these old versions of the game. I know probably a few places that keep it updated

 

I remember trying to get Beamng for free, but I went on steam instead and bought it. The sites are so ad filled with so much junk and you probably will download viruses. Definitely buy it on steam or humble bundle.

Anybody else with a mid range machine experiencing extreme performance loss when the car is spinning? ingame diagnostics say its a CPU and Game Engine bottleneck.. never had any issue that bad before. It'll go from 120fps to 9fps just from spinning. Hoping theres a fix or workaround because this mod is amazing! Great work

 

Well, how many cars are you running when you experience the FPS drop? That may be a contributing factor.

Is there by any chance you were using a Nascar track from the forums? There is an issue with a lot of Assetto Corsa ported tracks, tire tracks tend to cause the game to drop performance big time, easy solution is to go into the datablock editor and turn down tire decals, sometimes you may even need to just disable tire tracks all together.
Chances are if you go onto a base game vanilla map with the Gen 6 it'll spin with no drop in performance, however if this is not the case it could be due to some other factors.

 

Yes, but I noticed that simply restarting the game made it go away for a while, and then it returned, and then fixed after a restart. Not too big of a deal. Just glad I can enjoy it now lol

I've collected some of the milestone older versions of this mod into a pack just in case anyone wants to see how development progressed as I learned how to make mods.

Included in the pack:
- V4, the first version with the original body JBeam (June 7th, 2021)
- V9, the last version with the (partially redone) original body (July 16th, 2021)
- V10, the first version after I started to redo the JBeamcompletely (July 17th, 2021)
- V19, one of the first versions with an engine and rear suspension (September 18th, 2021)
- V26, the first version with front suspension, still uses default BeamNG wheels. (November 22nd, 2021)
- VBeta1, the first version released to my beta testers. (January 11th, 2022)

This mod pack is just for fun, they should all be able to work together without conflict.
