We are not talking about the vent but about the body molding around it

I'm almost certain I have seen the variant that is in the mod but can't find a picture, it's either customized or very rare

Are you planning to do an interior(s) revamp in future updates? Some upholstery patterns are still missing and the existing ones are pretty inaccurate :( Would love to see them remade or amended

We don't have anyone skilled enough to do it at the moment, if we did then we could

    When it's ready
Please don't ask that question again, it's generally frowned upon.

looking it up this appears to have been a change done in 1994 (very few pictures have this if i look up 1993 compared to the fair amount 1994 pictures seem to have) im assuming this was done after niki intakes stopped being used. is it possible that only some of these have the vents due to parts availability?

i suspect this might have been sold as an option. can somebody try and find documents of all available options? ive found american cars always have little options like this that are neglected due to not being fancy performance packages or anything. seems to have ran until the end of production

Nowadays I think if someone VERY experienced were to make this mod, making the Jbeam from scratch would have been in some ways a better alternative than basing it on the Piccolina. But those kinds of people would rather work on their own mods which is very understandable, so for a way less experienced person like me using the Piccolina as a base was better. 2/3 of the Jbeam had to be redone twice as a result, but still making it from scratch would have been harder for me and would have turned out way worse.

Frankly back then I was unfamiliar with how similar the two cars were mechanically, it's actually a pretty logical jbeam to start with if you're not gonna start from scratch.

And I was unfamiliar with how different they are lol. The rear suspension is only a bit similar but all the geometry is different, front one is completely different, the bottom chassis layout and engine bay is really similar but starting from the fenders and the front clip nothing matches up anymore, transmission mounts seem similar but engine mounts are different, the whole engine weight has a massive difference, all the openable panels have many differences, most of the other parts are much lighter, the weight distribution and the weight itself differ too... So it required heavy modifications for sure.
