Glad to see that the file management is more clean than before! On the other side, what are the changes compared with the old version?
the front wheels are higher, there is more downforce at the front/center, the wheel grip less at high loads to counteract the added downforce, there are some model updates, and other things i forgot
Whenever I load the GT3 car it loads up this, I've deep cleaned and cleared my cache multiple times i've also reinstalled the mod multiple times aswell no idea why this happens
Exchy updated Scintilla GT3 Racing Parts with a new update entry: Regulations? Read the rest of this update entry...
I would like to ask that, whenever the next update comes out, you modify the torque curve for the GT3 V10 long block, it's underpowered compared to the V8 block. I ask simply because I prefer the V10 sound over the V8 sound. I'd do it myself, but I'd like everybody else to have the fix as well.
Oh i forgot about that, we'll include it if there are other things to update too otherwise it would be kinda small
Well, being reminded of this mod, I'm still curious as to whether we will be getting an actual GT3-style widebody kit for this car, like a real GT3. Sure, the McLaren 720S GT3 has no widebody, but upon doing some research, that's because it's already wide enough to contest with other GT3 cars in terms of width, measuring in at a hefty 2161mm. All the other GT3 cars have widebodies that extend their width to somewhere between 1975mm (the width of the Ferrari 488 GT3 and the Porsche 911 GT3 R) to as much as 2049mm (the width of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3 Evo). So that leaves us with the question: How wide is the Scintilla currently? I don't want to update to 0.26 (my computer is a crappy 4GB laptop with almost no storage space left), so I'm gonna have to rely on you guys to find the Scintilla's width to calculate the width of the widebody (plz don't lie). I know the widebody may be a lot of work to put in (sorry), but trust me, 1. It's DEFINITELY gonna be worth it, 2. IMHO it's the only thing we desperately need to do to make this a real GT3 car, otherwise it's not really a 2020-spec GT3 car. Sorry if I sound like I'm putting a burden of work on you Exchy and Turbo49, but as there's nothing left to do much on this car, maybe you could (might as well) do it, pretty please?
The Scintilla at it's widest point without mirrors (the rear wheel arch), measured in Blender, is roughly 1985 mm wide. It may not need a widebody, however, a mild one could be interesting.
I'm currently working on a "hot"fix so if you have anything to suggest now's the time. I won't do that for now because i'm lazy and it's not really needed
Does anyone here have any data on how much downforce a GT3 car usually makes ? I cannot find anything.
I thinks we already had this discussion in the beggining of the Thread, will try to find it --- Post updated --- @Turbo49> Does this help in any shape or form?
