This is an amazing mod, I wish there were more people with the time and skills to make this sort of mod for BeamNG. I would like to know what the operating speeds are for this plane in-game: Vr (rotate speed) Vs (stall speed) Vs0 (stall speed landing configuration) Vx (best angle of climb) Vy (best rate of climb) Vglide (best glide speed)
You would have to test these speeds out yourself and note them down as they are not reported by the author of this mod.
The reason I asked is because the author said he used the airplane manual as a big reference for making the mod. The manual has the operating speeds, which is why I asked; I realize BeamNG is not a flight sim and so, despite the author's best effords, the speeds as written on the real plane's manual might be entirely off or not consistent. But I'd wager they'd still be good enough to be a reference.
Yea i get what you mean. Although the mod is extremely well done and has amazing details and tons of work went into it, unfortunately it will never fly like the real thing or even close to the speeds in the manual. This is because of many reasons. 1. The distribution of the CoG and the CoP is not ideal. This changes the stall speed and all other speeds. 2. While flying, the plane has a tendency to always pitch down even at full speed and regardless of trim. 3. The horizontal stabilizer generates lift upwards but in reality it should generate lift downwards. 4. Lift and drag forces acting on the plane surfaces should be optimised a bit. 5. The plane is not capable of testing Vmu (Velocity minimum unstick) because at full upwards deflection of the elevator the tail doesnt even touch the ground.
I installed this plane mod today, and when i try to raise or lower the throttle, it doesnt change and says that its at 7%.. I am out of ideas on how to fix this
It is very great but you should make it so the cargo door bends down so you dont need the ramp like most cargo planes
Why do you call the plane produced by a Ukrainian company Russian? https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonow
because its true... --- Post updated --- sorry for the minor bump but does the download link work for anyone else?
copy the .zip open your game open the mods tab click on the top left thing that should say something like your mods or whatever then on the bottom right there should be a thing that says "open mods folder" click on that. paste the .zip you copied earlier. while you're at it, pin said folder to your "quick access" in the file explorer so you can do this easier in the future.
