Deactivate all your mods and clear cache, then reactivate them 1 by 1 until you find which one it is

its most likely a mod, try playing in safe mode or cache cleaning.
if that doesn't work, verify the integrity of your files

    You mean 5 minutes?
The cache time estimator can say it takes up to 2 days even though it takes 5-10 minutes.

You probably have like 1000 mods then... It never took longer than 5 minutes for me

have you actually tried it? it says five hours, then it decreases to a few minutes. just clear your cache, go read a book while you wait. it won't take that long!!

Just leave it running. It'll finish in 4-5 minutes, regardless of what the system says.

For a beam update a while back, steam said it would take two years. Don't take it literally, it's an estimation, not an exact.

Run in safe mode, if it doesnt happen then, a mod is causing the issue. Deactivate half of your mods, if the problem still happens deactivate the other half and let the others run. Do that until you narrowed down the mod causing the issue.
