Update Speculation thread

Doubt it, if they needed to manage expectations they wouldn't do it with cryptic shitposts. The devs don't ramp up activity in this thread and spam teasers when there isn't an update about to drop, plus I got a staff pick on a post that implied the update was almost ready

Potentially something for the career mode? Maybe we will see a larger implementation of career mode next update involving a new map and new vehicles - likely some story revolving around the off-road scene of Johnson Valley. A possibility at least.

 

Lens flare and chromatic aberration? I wonder if it's from a software or if it'll be part of the photo mode

Second one: career mode full release? Remember when they posted the designing the characters thing a few years back? That font looks like it would fit in the dialogue.

I think it’s gonna be released on Wednesday, there’s gonna be a teaser Tuesday hinting that the update is ready to be released and on Wednesday it’s gonna drop. But I hope it’s Monday.

Career mode is probably not gonna be released this update. The "preview" they included is still obviously a very early wip, is pretty buggy, and is missing a lot. Maybe 0.28 or 0.29 will have it, but 0.27 seems very unlikely to me.

 

0.24 and 0.24.1 was released on dec 3rd and dec 21st so im speculating its sometime in between these 2

 

Maybe they'll add working money to it? That's all I need to be satisfied for now excluding new missions of course

 

The thing is not much more than just freeroam with the added benefits of not being able to reset your car, have mandatory traffic, and are supposed to go to missions. With how pedantic beam usually is about their quality, it would surprise me a lot.

 

I thinks they probably upgrade the career mode but we only can open like we do for the moment.

 

The bottom one is DEFINITELY carreer, play the back on the rocks campaign and you’ll see that’s the same font.
