    I agree, it would be very unprofessional to not only tolerate, but encourage this kind of spam with the intention of disappointing people for laughs, or without at least making it clear they weren't able to push it today

    Something like "where did you guys get the idea it was being released today, be patient and please don't make more work for us cleaning the forum" would be much appreciated, unless...

    On the other hand, this thread has been a hot mess for weeks now. If they don't drop the update today, it'll turn into an Update Letdown Thread for like an hour or so and then it'll continue being hot mess anyway.
