    Turning on the roof lights reduces my fps by 3x?

    you're not alone. I was very surprised when I turned on the lights on the roof of my FPS fell.

    Sneakily using the backdrop as a part of the map ;p

    Actual a neat idea, kind of hope now that the the highways on ETK-Testcenter & Utah get the same treatment.

    My only complaint is that the texture is obviously way more low-res then the terrain, would be nice if it that could be fixed somehow ^^

    Nah, I meant when the UI for refueling shows up. If it doesn't show up at all then it must be a different bug. Make sure you're on a supported gas station as well.

    If anyone gets the bug where a traffic car is invisible but physically there, then ping me. Also, let me know if you did anything special, such as: switching between vehicles, using walking mode, using the part config menu, etc. I can't seem to get the bug myself after an hour of trying different things, ugh.

    The patch notes said this is the longest highway in beamng. Now i finally tried it and was like wtf, there's no way this map is only 10 km2. It felt more like 100 km2.
    Then i noticed that it is 10km2, but the road extends way past the conventional heightmap as a mesh.

    when i initially spawned traffic i had a few invisible vehicles that seemed like they didnt exist but i could tab to them and it removed dynamic reflections when i was on them. i had to manually delete them. i assumed it was the game trying to spawn saved configs for mods that i no longer had installed but thinking back it really shouldnt do since i had simplified vehicles on. all i did was spawn traffic (police) with the radial menu

    @Gamergull here’s a bug
    I spawned into WCUSA with traffic automatically loading on spawn, and they were all invisible (not at first, they only became invisible when they reloaded in a different area (ex. I saw a Bastion driving, then I drove somewhere else, then I heard an invisible car driving and accidentally ran into it (no way to avoid it, I didn’t even see it (well duh)), and it turned out to be a Bastion (checked with node grabber node visualization)). I have the vehicle pooling on, simplified traffic, no switching to AI traffic, and smart configs on. It only happens occasionally, in both Safe Mode and with mods.

    I just got out of the car in walking mode and the car became invisible, no editing or anything, it just disappered instantly, no traffic active

    No, when I spawn a car on this map there's no license plate design at all; because it doesn't have a default license plate assigned to it

    Very sneaky. If you don't include the backdrop and highway (only the usable terrain) then it's actually smaller than Italy... more like 3 km x 3 km. I guess the same technique could be used to expand the highways on other maps? I like the map but I think there needs to be some clarification that it isn't actually that big. Otherwise people may get the wrong idea and feel deceived later on.


    The graphics improvements alone are pretty huge, and I'm loving the Autobello truck... just wishing the map were as big as advertised.

    Wait, I'm an idiot... it said 10 km^2, not 10 km x 10 km (100 km^2)... should have paid more attention in math. Good job guys, it's a cool map and I just failed to do units correctly.

    So, first off: Congratulations, y'all! This is a humongous update, to say the least. Five new vehicles and a new map and all the physics and graphics improvements that came with them? Just....wow.

    Anyway, I've found a few small issues with the Wydra:

    -"Poland" is not capitalized in the vehicle's selector, nor is there a Polish flag for the vehicle in the Time Trials menu - which is rather odd.
    -The vehicle lacks model years.
    -The 4x4 variants' fenders block the side doors on the cab from opening - no idea if this is intentional or not.

    EDIT: Found a few more issues:

    -SP Rock Basher has no model years
    -Piccobuggy Baja Extreme has a value of 1.1 million and has model years of 1968-1973. I don't know if the model years are a bug, but the Piccobuggy Unlimited has model years of 2018-2022, and both the Unlimited and Extreme use SBR engines.

    Even with the default engine behavior set to ignition off, the engine will idle before i start the motor, and i can move it but it acts as if its holding the breaks. Can drive regularly once i “turn on” the motor even tho its already on.

    I don't know if it's voluntary, the remain of an old plan or a leak of a feature expansion, but there's an opening in the fence at the West of the map and there's a fence that goes reaallllyyyy far but just to the south of the salt lake or thing like that.

    I had that bug just now, but with a car I spawned myself:

    I can push it around and move it with node grabber, so it's physically here.
    There are no errors in console.

    - Drove Sunburst for awhile.
    - Stopped Sunburst, opened vehicle selector.
    - Spawned 200bx to demonstrate a different bug (all old vehicles still use the old lens flares).
    - Sunburst is now invisible.

    I can even drive it just fine, and display the jbeam.
