    I posted this in the dunekicker thread but i thought id post it here too,
    Sometimes if i spawn the dunekicker it will become extremely laggy, if it doesnt become laggy when you spawn it in then if you spawn another vehicle next to it (d series pre runner for example) it will get extremely laggy, only way ive found of sorting it is reloading the lua and this only works sometimes. Even if the lag started on another map sometimes it will go on other maps with any vehicles too, i have no mods installed either

    What exactly are you looking at? What car/model, what readout etc?

    Sounds like a mod related issue, works fine here. Please again in safe mode.

    Can you share those errors please?

    I’m not sure how I feel about these fences at the border of the map.

    I get the sentiment of wanting to prevent players from leaving the map, but for me the fences don’t do a great job at that.
    For once they pretty jumpable (by accident btw).
    So, I had it more times the fences prevented me from going back on the map then leaving it xD
    Also there is even a hole in the fence to use the backdrop/saltlake as map,
    and the highway also goes out there.

    That makes the whole thing pretty pointless to me.

    I think being able to just go “oh seems I’m out of high-res map” and then whip the car around,
    would be better than surprise fence of dead, or being trapped outside the map.

    But well, maybe that’s just me, and most players appreciate that small obstacle, that hinders them from accidently leaving the main area.

    yup that's not an unknown bug, it's here since 0.25 for me, at least on italy and East Coast! hopefully it will be fixed soon but i'm pretty sure devs are aware of it at least

    Can someone help? The textures won’t load on steam deck for the new map they load for everything else the old fix doesn’t work since they don’t have the Johnson valley textures cached was wondering if someone could help

    D-Series normal and race 4WD transfer case are identical and there is absolutely no difference between them aside from default mode
    They are both also mechanically identical to the Hopper 4wd and 4wd race transfer case and the only differences are meshes and the normal Jbeam
    Seems like someone copy+pasted the same code when reworking transfer cases and forgot to edit it later

    In Johnson Valley, rocks, fences and other objects have no collision, and there is nothing stopping you from flying off the map if you just drive down the highway.

    I think this is a you issue. Are you running the game in safe mode? Cleared cache?

    The main traffic AI dev has addressed some concerns about traffic AI on Johnson Valley, the team is testing things out and working on fixes for some of the issues.
    There are actually multiple openings in the fence designed to let you out of the map at specific places, such as the salt flat. The highway also goes a significant distance outside of the high res map area, it’s got just enough detail to be reasonable.

    When I uncheck "limit framerate to 30 when window is not in focus", the game starts limiting the framerate to 30 when window is in focus... Fail

    Regarding the missing mod sounds - this is sorted now.

    My mistake - basically I had to change the mixing desk structure for the cabin filter work and I moved the location of the custom sound input channel without knowing that its location was hard coded, so the game couldn't find it properly.

    So, is there any fix to the refueling not working? It works for some people and it doesn't for others. I've got the markers enabled, mods disabled and the message to fill up doesn't show up at any supported gas stations

    I believe it only works on certain pumps on that map, try the far side of the closest pump to the gas station entrance. That's the one that I got to work.
