This could just be the new bloom at the work, changes a little bit of everything.

 

It still shouldn't do that even in arcade mode. Cause in the last update it didn't auto start when the throttle was activated. As of the new update it started doing that.

 

i'm having this exact issue and can't seem to find a fix, it's really frustrating. even in safe mode this happens

 

I feel the same way. Optimizing games is becoming more and more difficult...
Two years ago it was possible to play with 42 cars(25~35FPS)with the highest option, but In .26ver the computer started to stop with just 30 vehicles(10FPS or less)
What's amazing is that two years ago, it was a much slower computer than it is now. (4690+16RAM+1070 → 9700K+64RAM+3070ti)
As game graphics develop, the load may increase, but I agree that it's a little too much.

 

Only complaint so far is that the removal of freecam in missions makes it much more difficult to catalog what the AI opponents are driving, which is something I do. Now, for example, I'll have no reliable way to tell whether pursuit targets and rival racers are manual or automatic. Not that it makes much of a gameplay difference, mind, but I'm writing it down for posterity and trying to be as accurate as possible... and I would also use it to get a closer look at badges & such, which is helpful when dealing with a car that has a lot of very similar looking configs.

On the other hand, that new V8 sound fits the Bastion way too well, that thing is straight nasty now.

 

Pt2 of issues ive found:

Stambecco bugs:
Stambecco race seat clips trough the window.
If you hold the inflate button on the tpms and you let go it will not stop somtimes, this only seems to happen after holding it for longer. But especially because of that it's an anoying feature.

Stambecco suggestions:
The spare tires on the Stambecco on the rear cant equip the standard and crawler tires and the ones on the cab cage can only equip the crawler. Ulitmately this should just be free for whatever one you choose.
The Stambecco headlights should have a yellow glass option.

EV systems:
There should be buttons for changing ev tegen, this system makes it for wheel users (or anyone who has to lean over to reach the keyboard) incredibly tedious and anoying to change the regen amount.

 

That is because of the great new ignition system. In Arcade mode, it also handles ignition for you to avoid new and casual players clogging up support ressources with "my car doesnt start".

Dont understand why you consider it such an issue... just use realistic setting or press Q when you require the vehicle not to autostart.

 

Totaly agree, and maybe some customizable and lifted suspension.

 

Well I just liked how it was before where it wouldn't auto restart when I hit the throttle and when I want it to shut off or start up I could do so with the starter button that I have mapped to my controller. I basically just want to be able to do that again and to me it provides better realism.

 

This small orange parts of the decal roads on the main road are making the ai stop for a moment with no reason, causing inconsistencies.

 

But the problem is I am on a controller and I can't map a gear shift key to a button as for some reason it crashes every time I try to change a button for a gear change. That's why I liked it before because I could just let the automatic transmission shift itself and I could control the ignition whenever I wanted to. I just think it would be nice if that could be a feature again. I really liked how it was before. Plus it felt way more realistic to be able to control the ignition with one button press instead of having it automatically start when I press the throttle. Don't get me wrong, I am all for the other features as those are absolutely amazing and I would love to see more of them in the future, I just wish that the ignition would be like how it was prior to this update or at least have the option to be able to change it how it was before.

 

Yes but it still crashes. But I do wish that there is an option to be able to change the ignition controls to how they were before without having to redo the new ignition system.

 

I have this same issue on Steam Deck, but also with nearly every other map that uses a certain concrete texture, except Automation.

 

Same bro,for some reason only Johnson Valley runs normally for me.And i dont think that adding 5 cars would do such a performance drop.

 

The new traffic colors are great. It's a small change but it makes a huge difference!
