It's not mainly about the time, it's about the difficulty of the task. What @JorgePinto meant by that is he is not sure if he knows how to make it and be the same quality as the other configurations, from my understanding.
In fact is a bit of both things, the 205 T16 as explained is 99% different from the regular one, so at this point is unknown. Would love to? Yes? Will be easy? No. Anyway, in the meantime, as I complete things on the 205 (will release more soon...would say next year, but the joke's old, so simply really soon), I'm doing a side project to avoid getting burned on working on the same thing continuously, right now is more for the sake of it rather than a full-on project like this or the mods before, but depending on how things turn, I'll see if it's worth releasing. Right now I'm still working on adapting the Vivace (what a useful foundation!) chassis to the new body...any guesses?
got a bit of an odd question. how did you add the new bloom effect lights to the car? Im trying to attempt to add them onto a mod that doesnt have them.
Yes, it's a 1997 Renault Mégane Scénic, the challenge here is that nothing is modelled before hand below the hood, trunk, or doors, so a big extra layer of modelling is required, that's why it's an 'experimental' side project for the time being. It's tricky, not because it's hard, but because it's not that intuitive, you need to increase the emission values to something high, until the bloom effect appears. For example, for the high beams, this is what I currently have in the materials file: "emissiveFactor": [ 6, 6, 6 You need to play with the values until they make sense (lower for things that are supposed to bloom just a bit, and the other way round) and that's it.
NO WAY, MY DAD'S OLD PIECE OF JUNK THAT BREAKS CONSTANTLY AND EVERYONE IS SCARED TO DRIVE IT, I WANT IT IN BEAMNG (he has the facelift version so I hope it will be included)
Nice, I have a 2000 Megane which at least does share the same platform and alot of parts so it'd be nice to see that finished
since you guys talked about another car besides the 205 that has the possibility of becoming a mod, is there any chance of having a 206?
Old french cars are for for the most part unbreakable, the 205 is part of it. If it's just to talk shit, don't do it.
he is known for "talking shit" but I digress, the only thing that I have found odd about this mod is the weird reflections of the glass.
Hi i love your model, im wondering if you will able to make it convertible, like CTI, CJ. I have a peugeot 205 cabriolet Roland Garros its a limited edition with a white soft top and dark green body, i would like to see it in beam ng. Reference image
Yeah idk where they got such bad reputation but they only break when you drive them for a LONG time, like with any car
TBH i could do a standalone (non repaintable) livery for you, as we already have the appropriate body and engines. However i don't know how the seat/carpets textures work out so i'll leave that as is
My uncle had one, once he was driving to my house and about 3 meters away from my house it broke down. It had a habit of breaking down.
