For a couple weeks now my game crashes saying my GPU is not responding.

I have tried a bunch of things with no luck and done everything the customer support told me to. I play this game all the time (1500 hrs) and recently the crashing has become more frequent making the game unplayable no matter which map or vehicle I am using.

I have also read through just about every forum post already trying each suggestion that was used to fix or try to fix the problem.

    Which includes:

    - Clearing cache a million times
    - Deleting/unsubscribing from all mods and creating new user folder
    - Reinstalling the most recent GPU Drivers using DDU & Reinstalling old GPU drivers from early 2022 using DDU
    - Reinstalling Direct X
    - Disabling Dynamic Reflections
    - Slightly underclocked the GPU and ran it at 90% fan speed to ensure stability/temps
----- I DID ALL THESE STEPS WITH NO MODS ENABLED

Also I have been getting a similar error in Red Dead Redemption 2 saying that my GPU is not Responding. Whether the crashing of those two games correlate or not I'm unsure. But those are the only two games I have been experiencing crashes. Every other game such as Assetto Corsa, Mx Bikes, Insurgency: Sandstorm, do not crash.

    System Specs:
    Ryzen 5 3600
    Rtx 2080
    16 GB ram

Update.. After searching random threads involving GPU crashes I Installed Afterburner. Underclocked -50 on both memory and core clock and it seemed to to have done the trick so far.. I guess its not for certain but I was able to play for almost 2 hours today without a crash for the first time in weeks.

Prior to this I was using EVGA Precision to adjust GPU settings and it did not make a difference which is odd..

Haven't tried Red Dead Redemption 2 yet but if fixes that as well I will update this post..

Let me know if It does the trick. My rtx 2080 is also a EVGA card. Im curious to see if that has something to do with it.

HWInfo to check temps/clocks. A 10% underclock, especially if the card is aging, won't go amiss. Some years ago I had to do it on my GTX580s.
