Solved need help "shaving door handle" (smoothing door handle to flat)

    basically i want to "shave door handle" for every door for "every" car i want to make builds of but im not getting great results with blender maybe im doing something wrong but i used the sculpting part of blender and used smoothing and flattening brush for like 40 mins but the results are not very good but theres gotta be some sort of way to do it quicker and better i just cant find anything about it :( any tips or anything would be appreciated :D im just opening the .dae file and just using the smooth and flatten tool on the door handles :))))))) ty to anyone who can help or anything :DDDDDDDDD (green truck is irl example)

    Why you don't try to add it like a New parts ? You Can just create handle with his own UV Map and add a New part selector in the door section.

    U really shouldn't use smooth/flatten tools for stuff like this.

    Instead, delete the area which has the door handle (so the area that doesn't line up with the rest of the geometry) should look something like this

    Then at the top right ish, you should see a small arrow. Click on it andd it would show data about individual verts you select. In order to fill it in properly, just subtract Z value 2 from 1, and it would give you the number that would change with the verts in the middle.

    Then use extend for vertices, and for Y value set it to the same as 1 but paste the value from the calculator (0.007745 m in this very specific case) in the Z field. This will add that number to the Z value of what is above #2. Final product should look something like this

    Sorry, I'm not exactly the best at explaining so it might not be understandable but I tried :p
