ive finally gotten it to be consistent. if i get a config for it (no matter the gearing if i build it myself) the stage 2 engine with max boost will always blow on my client side (beam mp. but a similar issue happens in base game) maybe its a simulation issue with my hardware or something? just looking how to fix it since it started happening a a bug fix from 0.27 and has come and went since. also behaves radically different between maps

That happens with every engine with only a stage 2 long block. Different maps have different elevations and therefore they have different air density, causing increases or decreases in power.

kind of missing the point. i was able to use the same config before and after a few updates and it behaves differently... and if i recreate the config on a different system (or have someone clone the config in the multiplayer mod) then it doesnt blow up with the same settings

Does the issue happen in safe mode? It might just be BeamMP doing it's thing and breaking stuff.

Try to remove as many variables as possible eg. using only gridsmall pure and changing one thing at a time.

it still doesnt change but if i clear my cache and do the deep cleans it helps. so im pretty sure its a simulation thing going wrong

It's definitely not the game's issue, works fine for me here. My guess is it's either an altitude issue or a mod issue.

how can it be a mod issue without any mods being installed? and im 99 percent sure its a setting that keeps getting changed since upon reinstall or reset of the settings and cleaning of the cache it works again
