(this is my first forums post so if it looks bad, thats why lol) Maybe its just me, but there is only one pickup in the game, and although there are lots of mods for it and honestly, a lot of them are really good (DFA pack ) but i still feel like the base game is lacking a bit. The Roamer was heavily inspired by the Second-Gen Ford Explorer. The 2nd Gen explorer frame and other parts were then used to create the Ford Ranger. if you compare the roamer interior to a ford ranger/explorer interior, they look very similar. id personally love to see a small truck added. thanks ill add pics below of what exactly im yapping about
While the Roamer may have some design components based off of the explorer, it’s frame is nearly identical to the D-Series. I do agree it would be great to have a pair of trucks that are smaller than the D-Series and Roamer however.
I don't think the Roamer was as inspired by the Explorer much, if at all. It's a full-size SUV based on a full-size truck chassis. It has V8 engines. (I know the 2nd-4th gen Explorer had V8s) It's more of a Expedition/Tahoe/Suburban. Truth be told, we don't have any mid-size/compact truck/SUV platforms in the vanilla game. As you can tell by my profile picture, I'd love to see one at some point. My first car was a 1997 Ranger RCSB 4.0L, 2WD with the 5-Speed. I know them well.

i have a 2009 4.0 auto RWD with about 40k miles, and i love it to death, but my god does it ever go through fuel quick lol --- Post updated --- after i made this, i hopped into the game, and you are correct, the frames are pretty much the same :/ --- Post updated --- also, there is this guy on the forums that made a mod in automation with all the ford engines, including the 4.0 and the 3.0, i didnt check for the I4 but im willing to bet that its there
