A mod that absolutely nobody asked for, but here we are... Welcome to the LeGran Touring Car thread! This project is very, very, early in the planning stages and is here to give the LeGran a hardcore race variant that takes a lot of inspiration from the DTM cars of the early 90s. This is my first mod, and it'll also be my first serious attempt at 3D modeling. That being said, I'm open to and asking for ideas and suggestions. The initial plan is to model a racing widebody kit and then eventually move onto doing a race dash, engine, race subframes, and ultimately a fully optimized chassis to tie everything together. I've even thought about creating a homologation version that'll give some of the ETKs a run for their money on the street. Stay tuned for updates and I look forward to your feedback!
The coolest thing I can ever have in my thoughts is turning a post-malaise shitbox into a cracking Class 1 touring car.I've made a Class 2 one with vanilla contents so the mod looks promising to me af.
Update 1/31/2023: Finally got around to getting Blender installed and I'm currently learning the basics around it. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have some progress!
Possibly in the distant future. This is more based on the production chassis DTMs. I could eventually slap a version of the DTM body on something like that though
