Update Speculation thread

Oh yeah, that other doors besides the passenger doors, could be cool.

 

I would assume that most if not all vehicles will receive opening hoods and doors, as said before, it would be difficult to fit every vehicle in on frame, and maybe some are not done yet

 

I speculate that the update will release on April 20th (4/20) .

But, anyways, that does sound realistic. I am convicted that the K series remaster will be part of it.

maybe we'll get another themed update. 0.27 was offroad, maybe we'll get a road racing based update wich might include tire thermals

 

maybe that along with features like opening doors and hoods

 

Maybe we be lucky and its coming end of march.
I wouldnt mind an lighter update with more features improved and expanded if that means it comes a little bit earlier.
Since the covet was remastered i just couldnt wait to expand the door opening system expanded on all official cars!

 

I'm quite the opposite. I would rather wait for a bigger finished update.

 

This is less speculation and more wishful thinking.
We will get a 1930's car/cars.
They are body-on-frame and have quite simplistic internal workings(leaf springs, drum breaks). Comparatively easy to create. Plus it was the time when something like a V16 or a straight 8 was a perfectly reasonable thing to put in a car. I would love to do a 1930s car race, police chase, or off-roading because back then every car was an off-road car.
It was also an era of coachbuilding. You could customize your car to any of the dozens of body styles used in that era.
And it would be another selling point. BeamNG.Drive is doing another thing that no one else does.

 

We literally just had a big one..
Some of you all cant be satisfied.

 

I think what he meant was that he prefers an update to take longer but contain more content than not taking as long but containing less content

 

I’d want an update to contain 1-2 new features, a remaster or a new vehicle (but I’d rather have a remaster)

 

I dont think that will be the case after such a big update.
They even wrote in the devblog that we should not expect anything this big anytime soon.
I hope they work on some stuff they couldnt ship with the big update like the opening door system, ETK K remaster and maybe some tire thermals since they are working on it.
If we are lucky it could get wrapped up till end of march to early april and thats that.
we will see.
