Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but I know you said it would be hard to find a convertible model. NFS Unbound may have fixed this problem. I don't know how difficult it would be to get an NFS model working in BeamNG, or if it's even possible, but It would be really cool. (This is where a picture of the convertible Mustang in NFS Unbound would be if I had Remembered to take one before posting lol)
I don't think it will be so difficult, it's just a 3D model, the most difficult thing in a convertible is to redo JBeam,
You can't use a vehicle from nfs unbound and upload it to repository. It's a licensed model. Beamng providing a uploading house would be a issue
Missing tires is quite a popular problem, just install the tires and rewrite the configuration, if I were you, I would remove the checkmark that creates the configuration cover.
Alright, so I finally found out the cause of the glass bezel not showing up as intended. Apparently, some materials were causing that to break completely, probably due to recent major game updates. I've also fixed missing tires on certain configurations again (this time only the facelift RTR ones to my knowledge), added a governor (i.e. speed limiter) for all engines, and changed the Coyote V8 engine sounds to the vanilla samples used on the Bastion (they could be further improved, but sounds better than the Forza samples it originally used at the very least). There are a couple more minor fixes that I made, but I can't remember now. The download link on page 43 has been updated, so please redownload the mod and clear the cache. However, as I mentioned a few months ago, don't expect any further updates unless it pertains to severe mod-breaking bugs that I could fix, if and when I have the time. There's a problem i have with the Mustang.Every glass turns orange and the front and back lights too. the front lights are always shining and ive tried clearing Cache but it didn't work either.

So glad this got updated, the glass textures are awesome now, but I really think the forza sample sounded a lot more accurate and less digital than the bastion one does. Also the power on the gt500 is way high. Edit: I thought the power was too high on the others but they are actually just about 500lbs too light
