He wont hurt my "image". Either way I don't do this for "clout" or to be known, its a hobby and i have zero issues going back to sharing with friends only, if problems like this don't stop. honestly I look forward to seeing the "f- you" and will most defiantly make me laugh, IF he continues the map
"Developer quality" map with stolen assets... You have no right to call it dev quality unless 100% of the assets are made by you or bought/downloaded on a license that allows you to use them freely.
Developers are also using resources from their previous maps, does that mean that can use resources from vanilla maps?
Gonna buy some high quality models eventually and make it even better. Just give it some time, I'll be back at it. It's on Hold, not canceled. I didn't really see it as stolen. I bought a couple months of his patreon, so I figured it'd be fine. But hey, I get it. If a couple rock models are the only thing that makes his map stand out, I'll respect that. I'm just gonna buy some real models and release later on. I've actually continued the map with his assets. I'm still enjoying them, just can't let you guys because he won't let me release it.

It’s just pissing us off more (at least it is me). I personally don’t care if the map doesn’t release now. Also, what makes the models you are supposedly going to use more “real” than his?
That’s a fat waste of money I would say. Especially if the map was considered to be for free at any point.
Will still be free, but yeah I will have to buy some rock packs. CGTrader has some pretty high quality models with pbr textures. It'll be a month or two before I bother with it though. As I said before, I've continued on so I'm not really motivated to completely change everything in a rush. Well, it's the truth. If I post anything with his assets, he will complain to the mods and they will take my links down by editing posts. Either that, or he'll try to sue me lol. Wouldn't see that being an option though, since it'd be free and I wouldn't make a dime. But I'm not taking any chances.
