Driver camera no longer automatically centering

I just noticed that when I use the buttons to look back over the shoulder no longer automatically centers the camera to the front when released. As far as I know, this functioned just fine the last time I played.
I checked for double keybinds, sticky keys and tried reselecting the auto-center option in camera options.

These however don't give any results, the issue occurs in safe mode too, does anyone know a solution?

This issue also occurs when in motion, I don't think that's the cause of the problem.
