Microsoft security responds to error reports

An error occurred while launching BeamNG.drive, after which security displayed this.is this a false positive?

And when I checked, Wendover was removed by security.

 

I got the same thing. Detected it first as Aicat (backdoor) on my main SSD, then as Casdet (trojan) on my backup HDD that I've not touched in some time. Glad to know it's a false positive as I suspected.

 

Speaking of which, it's not good to keep showing security as positive, so please let me know if you know what kind of response is correct.

A new threat has been identified.

 

Just got the same issue. Windows Defender identified wendover.zip as a threat. Backdoor:Win32/Aicat.A!ml

Seems like its recently quite a common problem.
