not sure if its just me, but the rear of the 800 series sedan just gives me VF Holden Commodore vibes (integrated spoiler, bumper license plate, and body outline)
Anyone think we are getting a facelift 800, and maybe that orange one was a facelift? Since bmw is known for their lci facelifts it would only make sense
That'd be nice - hopefully it comes with a rework of the vehicle selector. I am of the opinion that all the facelifts should be listed as separate vehicles (And the Tograc and Vivace should be under seperate entries while still preserving the interchangeability, though this is probably easier said than done, and that vehicle content could be fleshed out with light badge engineering especially considering international markets (like Cherrier Rayonner vs. Bruckell Bastion). At risk of pushing too far off topic, this would really help gameplay with international maps - seeing only USDM cars on US maps, and (more the issue) only EUDM cars on EU maps in traffic
It'd also make things even more cluttered and sluggish than the vehicle selector already is (as well as the rest of the UI), but each to their own
I like the vehicle selector the way it is, I would like to see a preview of selected parts tho, especially of the rims cause there are so many and I can’t remember what every single one of them looks like xd
I personally don’t think these will be facelifts, I think they are remasters replacing the whole car.
I wonder if we get a convertible version for the k-series, with openable soft top (since multiple things are openable now). Or maybe for the 800-series. But i always wondered why the k series has no convertible version but only coupe, because it is based of the BMW Z4, which is a roadster. But now along with the remaster this would be perfect.
id like if the vehicle selector saved filters for the next time you opened it, just so that i wont have to type the age or any other filter again and again
I do agree that wheel previews would be helpful. I personally have a pretty good idea of what most are gonna look like but I also know that many do not have that ability.
It’s always difficult to find the right rims, I think a system similar Forza with a small preview could be pretty helpful.
I had to get through 28 pages of speculation to get here... but WOW! I'm so glad I checked this thread! Modern ETK remaster WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Same for the Mod Manager. The default "Date added" sort seems rather random (different every time I open it regardless of any new mods added or not). It would be more helpful for those with a lot of mods if they could select "Mod Name" or "Type" or "Active" when looking for a specific mod and not have to change the sort every time..
While the current UI cannot support this anyway, I do think it would be worth looking into as the UI changes continue. The second tier selectors are a disaster atm and have been for years. Any casual players may not even know the Charro exists or know where to find the Vivace/Tograc, vehicles like the D-Series reasonably can't get all the configs they ought to have, etc... Moving the alternate body styles and facelifts to the primary level would help organize things, especially if the filters are used well. Other games have no problem with several hundred cars in their selector, I don't think we should be all that worried about the primary selector level getting too cluttered with this just yet.
Eh. I don't see it and believe me, I kinda want to but I don't think we'll get an HSV-esque over-the-top ETK ( or maybe that's that "Knallhart" everyone was talking about?) What I really want is an in-game equivalent of Alpina.
