don't tempt me did it ever not?? anyways more silly stuff also miramar is a real chungus (the blue mesh is made to real world dimensions)
I made a thing inspired by Car Pal, should I release it? Not sure because it would be kinda rude, he made his version paid and if I uploaded a better version for free then nobody would buy his one
I don't see an issue with releasing it. Either for free. Or, only slightly cheaper than the other one, just to 'rub salt into the wound' so to speak. More importantly, why tf is the other one even paid to begin with? Is it basically the same as what you have there?
Today's Claria progress, I have good news and bad news The good news is that the interior C pillars and parcel shelf is now done (also matched the rear door cards to the higher rear fender line) This means that interior work is now totally complete (aside from minor tweaks) The bad news is that I may have commited several UV war crimes in the process (and stepped on a baby) shouldn't be a difficult fix, plus anyone who looks closely enough at the C pillar UVs to notice anything wrong will most likely crash into an oncoming 1987 Bruckell LeGran and be too dead to complain to me about it And no I definitely did NOT just rotate the tailgate lining 90 degrees to make the parcel shelf Now might also be a good time to do some jbeam work, which up to this point I may have been avoiding --- Post updated --- much better god bless project UV from view --- Post updated --- another very brief update, changed the rear end a bit, namely cruved the top of the taillights/bootlid, raised the whole boot area a bit and added that little styling bulge thingy in the center a small touch but makes it look a lot nicer and more authentic
That looks cool man, Gonna be looking forward to it anytime soon. I don't know if there will be also a Claria coupe version as well.
seeing as I basically can't keep a secret eventually yeah I would like to do a 2DHT version, much like this Ideally the plan is to first complete and release the 4DHT before getting bogged down on too many other time consuming things like bodystyles On the other hand it might probably be better workflow wise to first model and finalise every planned bodystyle, then go about doing UVs all at once, as over my many years of 3D experience I can say editing existing UVs and textures is a total pain in the butt and generally the results look terrible too On another note, a little known fact, twice the speedometers equals twice the speed can't even understand why anyone would spend $$$ modding their engines, this is so much easier
Any insight into how it handles? Wagon Claria is very tail-happy, to the point that even equipping racing slicks doesn't really make it stable – how about this one?
The new Beta of my "Tools for Mapbuilders" is out now. It can now copy assets from one map to another. Check it out: https://www.beamng.com/threads/beamng-tool-for-map-creators-big-update.89058/
