But wouldn’t there still be a small display between the gauges, like on most IRL modern vehicles? That would technically count as both analog and digital especially if the display can show a digital speedometer.
So the entire drivetrain is baked and ready for texturing! I figured I'd reuse the FCV's engine block, turbo, and cooling system. (The normal maps have been transferred over to my own materials, so there won't be any conflicts with other vehicles). Rest of the engine bay is entirely custom : airbox, battery, exhaust, even the windshield fluid reservoir! The front suspension is from the FCV as well, although it's been modified to fit the Scout's chassis. The rear suspension is entirely custom and has space for an AWD system (yes, AWD and torsion beam. I was surprised too but apparently they exist). Everything shown here will be textured by me. You can expect more progress updates in the next few days
I was thinking something similar to these gauges, but the integration could be more smooth instead of hastily done as in this examples. For an example, the speedometer could be analog, while the rpm gauge could be fully digital, plus some extra information about the car (obviously in digital). The other information such as temperature and gas levels could be in digital or analog.
Updated the first post to include more recent pictures And that's the drivetrain done! This was pretty much the last piece of the puzzle art-wise, and I'm really happy to have all this stuff finished. I think it turned out great too It looks like a finished mod now which is great. I still have a bunch of tidying up and some jbeaming left to do, and then I'll move on to configurations. Once all of that is done it'll be on to the beta-testing phase before release
Will there also be proper independent wheel suspension at the rear? I've only had bad experiences with torsion beam suspension on the Cherrier Vivace
and when may that be in a specific date, ex: dd/mm/yy and time is optional (its a joke dont assassinate me and my next 5 generations)
