also on the automation map, snow in mountainous terrain has become less slippery now it is difficult to throw the car into a skid with a sharp turn of the steering wheel by 60, it is possible to throw the maximum in one sharp turn by 55 minimum. at 0.27, it was easy to do it by 50.

also, whenever i exit photo mode with roll, the values reset to 0.0 without actually reseting the position of the camera

There are some modifications that have errors in all the windows and headlights of the car. Does anyone know how to fix it?

This is the case for almost any car as far as I know but it’s especially noticeable on the new etks. The sportier the traction control setting, the slower the car is from 0-100. Etk k Kc8x for example takes around 2.8 seconds to 100 in comfort mode, 2.9 seconds in ttSport and 3.1 seconds in ttsport+. I don’t feel like cars should be the slowest in their sportiest settings. I suspect this has to do with:
    1. The esp letting the wheels spin slightly and then cutting too much power, while in comfort mode the power gets smoothly regulated.
    2. (etk awd specific) the weird wobbles when accelerating in 1st and 2nd which looks like the gearbox can’t handle the power. This issue also happens less in comfort mode
However this is similar for other cars (for example the Civetta Scintilla: 2.54 seconds 0-100 in strada, 2.63 seconds in corse mode)
For the etk it is the most noticeable though

Perhaps the sportier the mode setting the more RWD-ish the AWD is, thus, the slower the straight-line acceleration

That might be another reason, that’s why I didn’t mention this earlier (cars have always been faster in comfort mode) but I think 0,3- 0,4 seconds like on the etk k is a bit too much, don’t you think? I can’t imagine that irl cars are 0,4 seconds slower when in their sportiest mode in comparison to the comfort mode… maybe I’m wrong tho

Yes, that's expected. The sportier modes do less hand-holding, so if you just floor it, they will be slightly slower.

One of my *only* gripes with this update is the changed UI for the parts menu. With the drop down menu parts being made visually the same as the non-drop down menu parts, it makes it harder and even more of a cluster f--- in the overall selector to quickly mod, change, or delete certain parts. (The saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" applies here). Especially after getting used to the old UI for the past multiple thousands of hours I have admittedly poured into this game over the past 6 years.

    BUG REPORT #1
Gauges on ETK 800-Series is clipping when revving, It happens the same for speedometer (GIF OPEN IN NEW TAB)

    etk800_gauges_bug.gif

    BUG REPORT #2
Gearboxes is broke themselves when shifting due to 0.28 update, The new clutch system is sounding good, but for players that have steering wheels, Not for players who has controllers (Like me obviously) I have turned on the "Clutch assistant" but shifting is really buggy (ATTACHED VIDEO)
    BUG REPORT #3
"Smooth movement" in Free camera settings is ticked by default, But after the 0.28 release, Isn't smooth when switching to free camera, while it's enabled; So, we need to disable and enable it again to work; Please fix this issue

Found the problem, something is wrong with the ETK's transfercase. The ESC itself is not problematic

Both the Bastion and the 800/K have AWD based on RWD platform, however unlike the Bastion's AWD that is proactive, the ETK's AWD becomes purely reactive after 0.28. In the Bastion, apply high throttle makes the transfercase to transfer some torque to the front, even the front wheels are not slipping(proactive). In the ETK, the transfercase won't apply torque to the front wheel unless the rear wheels are slipping(reactive), regardless of ESC mode.

I'm able to replicate the "weird wobbles" in a fairly underpowered ETK, which means the "weird wobbles" are not caused by the overpowered engine or the DCT or the ESC in the Kc8tx. I used ESC off to make the phenomenon easier to replicate. This phenomenon does not occur in the Bastion. If you bring up the "Powertrain Visualization" app you can clear see the "RWD→wheelslip→AWD→wheelgrip→RWD" cycle or "oscillation" . This cycle occurs in any ESC mode in the ETK, the lesser degree if you set ESC to comfort is purely because of the ESC restricting the throttle.

Also in comfort mode, the ETK tend to brake both rear wheels instead of transferring more torque to the front, compared to the Bastion

Is it possible to setup ACC level traction control myself, is it capable of that?

Force Feedback Stops working entirely until i replug my wheel when I modify a vehicle, change in between different already spawned vehicles, When I change vehicle, Or do anything else. It's pretty annoying.

I agree with the point that it feels very rushed. Though it's very understandable because they had limited time to add working openable doors and interior collision to all cars, and had to finish the update before Easter. Also I thought I was the only one who gets half the usual FPS on Automation map now. But the claim that it's the buggiest update ever is exaggerated, at least no bugs are game-breaking, just purely visual.

Bluebuck trunk tries to reconnect itself after being ripped off. The cause is because the new opening springs have wrong break groups. They were added in 0.28 it seems.

I am experiencing severe performance issues since the last update, making the game completely unplayable. What happens is that the framerate slows down to as low as about 5 fps, while both internal and external framerate counters still report ~100fps. Here are things I've tried / noticed:
    • More in some areas than in others, particularly on Automation Test Track T6 (the carussel-like corner). Though the framerate feels rough all around particularly on this map, not low but very inconsistent, but again not reported by the FPS stats (which report, for example, avg/min/max 95/60/170)
    • When the framerate feel "rough", its not consistently but in spikes of a couple of slow frames (again, no difference visible on the fps tool)
    • Still in safe mode with default and my personal graphics settings
    • Still after "deep" clearing cache
    • In borderless fullscreen, NOT in fullscreen (which I figured out just now), in windowed mode worse the bigger the window
    • NOT when not in focus (runs smoothly on 100 fps if uncapped in background or on 30 when capped in background)
    • With and without V-Sync
    • With and without framerate limit
    • Same GPU usage if lag or not
    • G-Sync is off + monitor doesn't even have G-Sync
    • Also happens on other maps, haven't tested to many, but on WCU it also is the case in some areas
    • With different vehicles (tested on their own D-Series, ETK K-Series, fpv-Player, no difference in lag)
    • Does not get better over time (tested for a couple of minutes, rather worse than better, really slow in more areas later on)
    • With and without UI
    • Physics seem to run at regular speed (as oposed to slow motion because the fps < 20)
    • MENU UI RUNS FINE (not the UI apps though), particularly, every time the UI pushes a frame that frame also updates the game (for example because of scrolling or hover animations when moving the mouse over animated elements, such as the input dropdowns)
    Specs:
    • CPU: 5959x
    • GPU: MSI 3070 Suprim X
    • Dual-Monitor Setup, monitor in question: Gigabyte G27Q
