    Thanks for the info! I really enjoy your mod. BeamNG is more the "game" I wanted it to be now. A sense of progress / meaning to what I do.

    But I started a new campaign yesterday and I tested some things: If you really mess up your car it will cost around 3000 dollars to fix it: engine total destroyed, the car is a total wreck etc.
    Also the ALT + F4 doesn't always work. Sometimes the game saves the state of your car and damage on the spot.
    But again... then the mod is like you visioned it: Realistic damage and persistent.

    Looking forward to what your mod will turn into!

    Btw; Can you make the "get in position" spot a bit bigger? With the Cadillac you really have to be in a perfect spot for all sectors to be green. Sometimes I spend 1 minute to get the car in the position so I can race.

    Could we have 2 cars out of the garage ? In case we have to tow to a repair shop and not over pay ? This is helpful with junk cars, that don't have an engine or wheels. Also, the tuning is not by category. Not sure if you could do that.

    Not sure how well having two cars out would work with the current way I handle the garage but tuning should be easy to place in categories like the vanilla tuning UI.

    Do you know why some parts don't show in the shop ? a good ex. is the moonhawk "led light bar" roof acc. I removed most mods and still not showing.

    I can't find it in the vanilla part edit menu. If it doesn't show in the vanilla part edit menu it won't show in part shops. Maybe that was one of your mods.

    hmm, I'll remove all mods and test to see. I can't see shit in the dark with default lights...lol

    Here's a small possible list for next release.

    1:Bonus $ for "best time" every race could have a timer and log time, beat it get extra $ as a % of total or other
    2: Prize types. I.E. win a "free repair" or free police bribe ("influence") "others" ?
    3: Tune menu needs sorting
    4: Sound sfx for actions: buying anything really. Maybe a garage tune sfx after hitting apply on a tune ?
    5: Sleep is only useful for changing time for me. Needs extra functions. Like "low health"=car stops responding at random intervals. Health needs to gradually decline, to have an incentive to sleep.
    6: Missions of course. Up to you if you wanna add the things we talked about.
    7: have a second tow button for the repair shop. This is more expensive of course.
    8: Bank loans small amounts, maybe based on rep, capped at 1k maybe. Variable interest payed after each mission/race, etc...
    9: You're awesome. That's all.
    Any idea why some mods (they show and have a $ value) can't be bought ?

    Next release will mostly be adding track events, but I might have enough time to add some suggested features as I want to wait until devs fix the beamstate issue before releasing 1.10 but it still appears on the known issues list so I don't think it's been hotfixed. I know the tuning menu needs sorting, I'll address that soon since I've been working on UI for track events which required me to port the tuning menu to the track event UI layout. For pit stops I load the fuel load tuning value instead of persistent gas from career mode and like SLRR you can repair for free during track events.

    To address some suggestions: Sleep was not really intended as a RP game mechanic, it's just a fast forward button that used to be the only way to heal, in SLRR it's mostly used to refresh used shops at a rep cost. Given how unforgiving the mod is in it's current form I don't know if adding tiredness to the mix would be a fun idea lol. Prize types you mention I've had on my list of stuff to add for a bit in the form of "inventory" items like emergency gas canisters, get out of cops free cards, and other special items you can use in certain situations. Not sure if adding custom SFX is possible, I haven't looked into that yet. I think you already suggested bank loans previously. Different towing spots is a good idea, should simple enough to add.

    Not exactly sure what you mean by some mods can't be bought. Unfortunately I'm too busy to fix issues related to other mods right now.

    WOW ! Track events ? I gotta learn to tune properly. Just sold a car for 18.4k (used, power steering only as bought item) with 3k rep ! NOTE that you can reset the odometer buy just buying a turbo/engine etc..)Felt good, lol. 'sfx' meaning sound effects. We talked about this, you just forgot. At this point you're making your own game here lol. It's all good. Regarding other mods, it's just that some of them you can't buy, as in, nothing happens (no 'own') like horns or plates, or some parts. It's ok tho, many do work, custom engines and parts etc...Man, some events and races are just so GOOD ! depending on how you battle with the ai and your own driving skill, tuning...

    I think you can cheat with high enough rep, reset the odometer of used cars to 0, sell them for huge profits !, so sleeping needs to decrease HUGE amounts of rep in order not to abuse this ?

    Wait, how do you reset the odometer ? turbo is not it. A new engine only ? My main car has reset odo 2 times.

    What's incredible is that any mods you have with parts and such, you can get a random variation in the used shops. Like "Mad mod' or others, but unfortunately mad mod parts can't be bought. I see them and have the buy button. It's ok tho, means you gotta spot 'rare' buys in the shop. EDIT, you can buy some of them it seems. Strange.
    Saving configs is a must too.

    Sorry if this was said before or already implemented, but I think it would be awesome to add bosses/champions to each racing discipline that have their own custom car, tracks, and AI difficulty. Similar to the kings in NFS Prostreet. Like in order to complete the Rural Racing Club I have to win a difficult race against the champion, who will put your car building and driving skills to the test with heightened stakes.

    Also it would be nice if there were ranked and unraked races. Sometimes I want to race just for money and don't want to progress up the bronze-silver-gold rankings.

    Loving the mod so far!

    Wow ! Haven't thought of that ! So you'd have the best possible config (needs a good ai path/speed wp) that's 1 level above what you might have. As progress goes, I think that's great the way it is, as you will stop progressing at gold. Also, it keeps the stakes high, once you complete a race, you can't milk that anymore. So if your car ain't ready for the next tier, do missions maybe. If you get enough rep, you can buy used cars or new ones and sell them for more than you got them for. With 3k rep, you have over 50% profit margin. Used can have over 100% I got a bug maybe and a used car's odo went to 0. Sold it for 18.5k lol

    I'm glad you like the mod! I can't really add bosses in a style that works like NSF games because I'm already running the AI at the maximum skill level, NSF games are notorious for having the AI rubber band and automatically catch up to you in boss races, which is just not possible to replicate in BeamNG. Technically the bosses are gold league racers since they use the best configs. They also naturally emerge from each race club as opponents you can't manage to beat with your current car. Maybe if devs add a way to artificially increase opponent performance and most importantly tire grip it would be possible to have actual bosses.

    I may be able to add to the race club UI to allow selecting league, I'd have to tie in the performance class system so we can't race high performance cars in bronze league. If I remember correctly in SLRR the drag race system will eventually say that no one wants to race against you anymore.

    Can you confirm that the odometer resetting is a bug, or maybe my setup running with 105 mods causing this at times ? I can't replicate it. Sometimes it happens after buying and installing a part. (power steering for ex)

    Odometer should not reset after part edits, it can happen when you get the towing repair bug. Maybe try disabling your mods and you'll see if it keeps happening.

    Idea: Have a player 'rank' mechanic, for 'buying parts'. So, ranks have a cap of parts you buy ($ cap) rank 1 maybe parts between 1$-1000$, rank 2 1000$-2000$ etc... Gain ranks by performing actions, (number of missions/races/events in general. Also, is it possible for a 3 star police to to spawn road blocks, with spike strips maybe ?

    Rep system is already there for rank, I feel it would get a bit confusing to have many different ranks. Improvements to police pursuits are planned for future updates, this is the kind of stuff I need to get working in a test project first.

    You're right. No need for extra junk to make it even harder.Maybe once you reach 3 stars, you auto trigger slow mo, for a few secs

    I had been excitedly following this thread since the beginning, but hadn't been on here in a couple months. Imagine my delight to discover yesterday that not only has this great mod launched, but has several updates under its belt! I started playing it last night and I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying it. Thanks for all the hard and creative work you've put into this!
