Ok simple yet extensive mod, the focus its the suspension and frame since the devs since to all but forgotten many of the old cars, unless maybe they have like a super dupper old car game update right around the corner but i doubt it.

The main feature of this initial release is a 4 link suspension that replaces the old leaf springs and the reinforcement of the old frame.

    Remember file a the bottom.

Now, i need honestly a better driver than me, i am already at my skill limit and i cannot push this config enough to see what needs improvement, so i need players that can help me with the testing of the config.

Right now i just want any tester to post they test run on the West Coast Race Track.

Now for what i want you to post its simple, i just need ONE of the options not all of them:
    • A repeat file if i am not wrong you can share that kind of stuff, if not please mods don't get too upset just tell me and i remove this part.
    • A video from third person or first person, you can post it to youtube or upload it to google drive, don't upload those here
    • A text description of your experience driving the car and what do you think needs improvement.
I prefer them in that order (top to bottom) and just post if you really think you push the car to the limit.

thigns i noticed while testing it abit: the suspension is bouncey and stiif(if on road is a bump the suspension is instantley bouncey the jbeam at the back window is a bit bad and the deformation needs fixing since its spiking really tiny bit here are some pictures

im not sure if i had the right mode on for jbeam but can ou tell me the keys to activate the jbeam vision?

I am testing it a little here.
At first, the models and variables to tune are really nice, and look really good. The Configs you included, apart from the wheel offset being too large, making the wheels clip with the rear fenders, are very well tuned, with a very neutral balance.
Now for the negatives, the rear suspension is a bit wobbly, specially when hard braking or doing a burnout (the links kind of behaves like springs, pretty stiff ones, but still springs). Maybe raising the spring values for the support beams will help. The burnout thing is very easy to reproduce with an automatic transmission.

Don.t you worry about the jbeam i just want the driving test the rest i can take care off. Thanks btw.

Yeah first time doing something like this, i also have a moonhwak 4 link and irs that have the same problem, wobbliness, however i see that the issue mostly manifest on high power and high grip, if i use older racing tires the issues is not as bad.

Maybe its and inherent issue to live axles, i will see how the devs fixed that problem on the other cars with live axles on the game.

Oh well thanks anyway, but if you can test it i would really appreciate it.

Now in order to be more specific of what i want, i don't really care much about jbeam issues i can test and fix that. Also this is in alpha state therefore i cut many corners just to focus on the suspension and chassis/frame stiffness that is why the car looks so funky.

What i really want is to know how the car feels at the time to be driven, not so much at the time of crashing.

Now i m gonna share some replay files of what i mostly want you to test.
    • The first file its just a lap around the West Coast track.
    • The second file its just me goofing around the city, i did crash the car at the end btw.

Note: I did the replay with just this mod on the game and i was able to reproduce it later just by opening the file in game.

It would be really nice if you could share some replay files just like that so i can analyze the suspension behavior. You can upload them here or to google drive, remember to compress them since they can get quite big.

Also, you can fool around with the suspension settings or even with the wheels, if you can come out with a better config i will thank you a lot. However don't modify the jbeam files unless you have a really good way to fix a glaring issue of the suspension.
