Here you have it in 4:35:156. This lap is quite bad honestly but decent enough for the record

I have made another lap (you have to trust me on that one and the leaderboard) in 4:19:169 but no video of it

if you only count recorded 4:35 is the best if you coun't not recorded 4:19 was my ultimate lap.

The car had a fine tune, better brake balance and adjusted turn rate. Still same shit keyboard + no assist

I don't ever want to do that again...

7:28 Second fun run in a 1400hp Bastion. All vanilla parts besides the turbo setup.

Not the fastest run by any means it was more just for fun.

 

Your car control is spectacular! Although the start and finish was supposed to be at 1:16 in the video.

Comming back after quite a while and managed to squize a 9'.35" out of a 200BX base on a full tank.
It is far from a clean lap and i did made some mistakes. I guess there is room for better time on a good lap but i don't think i will ever be satisfied with a lap on the this track. I will always miss something.

Anyhow there is also a video. I believe that there should be a 200BX cup on the ring. This car is so much fun to drive

 

I wonder if it is really comparable when you can change anything in the game from gravity to road friction or even drive in slow motion.

 

well you work on trust here. Plus wouldn't you be able to see if it's in slow motion?

 

Currently working on a lap with the stock Bolide 350, the only thing that changed from the stock config was the color. Was having a great lap until Beam and OBS BOTH crashed lol.

Maybe I'll get that lap done another time lol. I've done too many by now, ready to be done for today. I will post my only completed lap, which came out to be a 9:00 lap with a spin-out and a slide into a wall that messed up my alignment pretty bad lol. Time was 9:00.228.

As I’m sure you can tell, I became distracted after that wreck before the back straight lol.

 

I got a better lap, 8:45.661. Same as the last one, but I didn't wreck this time. My biggest mistake was probably my AWFUL corner at the second concrete corner towards the end of the track. I COMPLETELY missed the concrete bit, I didn't brake or turn in early enough.

 

Finally tried the steering assists out:

The understeer assist was really useful, to the point I felt like it could be considered cheating.
The oversteer assist however did not seem as useful unfortunately, especially since I mostly struggle with oversteer. I just ended up fighting it.
Overall I can see why people would love these assists, but the reason I play Beam over Forza Motorsport 7 is the fact that I can actually control the cars myself in Beam(and make my own mistakes), so I will be leaving them off.

I also tried to do a fast lap and a relatively silly lap a while ago aswell.

Hi, first post here but long time Beamng owner and lurker on here. I did this lap in 7.12.322, in the Bastion from CJD, only change was the 7 speed dual clutch (ankle reconstruction), diff ratio, on slicks and the engine made NA but boosted up a bit.

Left a bit on the table, still getting used to my new DD setup, oh and that pesky ankle reconstruction.

 

That delorean you got there, did you change the engine files because someone did in that thread.

 

I did not change any files, I would have mentioned it if I had. I am assuming you are talking about this: DeLorean DMC-12 ('81 - '83)

I generally prefer as non custom vehicles as possible, although having more realistic torquecurves and drive ratios would probably been better to use but I just completely forgot about it

 

Could I record and post laps of Ibishu Claria configs? Have not browsed through all 16 pages but if I interpret post 1 correctly it has to be BeamNG Dev vehicles only?

EDIT: Scratch that, I just found an Automation mod in the Spreadsheet. Consider my question answered.

The link in the description of the YT video where this was originally found still gets updated, with changelogs and all that. It’s not super often, but it does happen.
