Re: B-25 Mitchell Yes, the propane tank is proof-of-concept for this. I'm also considering a 75mm cannon, although I'm not sure if a muzzle velocity of 617m/s (2,200km/h) is even remotely feasible. Don't be silly, I'd never give away my address on the internet. Oh, chocolate you say? Hmm... ...hmm... ...ok, I give in, it's 4/22 Greenland St, Wishart 4122.
Re: B-25 Mitchell This is impressive. Very impressive. And I'm a very difficult person to impress. As much as I'd like to tell you how great this looks, words don't do it justice. Can't wait to see it in game.
Re: B-25 Mitchell Hey B25, So your modeling skills are so amazing, Do you plan on other planes?, Just curious .
Re: B-25 Mitchell Where have you been all these years? I've been wanting a plane that comes apart rather than bends unrealistically for ages. Aluminium is not rubber, and I'm glad to see the ability to tear f*ck out of a plane here Anyway, I'm not sure if "Likes to fuck with the crash behaviour of the default vehicles in jbeam to make them match real life" qualifies me to test. I haven't made any releases of anything. Unless you want someone to exclusively offer crash behaviour feedback then I'm entirely useless XD
Re: B-25 Mitchell Looks awesome ! but from my experience of planes they don't break as much as yours does normally its like the wings come off and occasionally the fuselage splits. I'm probably wrong though. Cant wit for this mod and all the mods which will doubtlessly come from it
Re: B-25 Mitchell Yes! I was hoping that someone will make a plane from WWII! That there is some neat work! About that 75mm cannon though; The B25 didn't have one, the navy version AKA PBJ-1 did. Oh, and if you find time, could you please make a Fw.190? It's my favourite WWII plane and I'd love to see it in the game, especially the D-13 version.
Re: B-25 Mitchell I am amazed you did this whole thing, mesh to jbeam in a matter of (days)? A few days ago I saw some modelling progress on the front and now this. Amazing
Re: B-25 Mitchell This is amazing! And as TYLERTJ said, it is more than impressive if you really made this in a few days. I am really excited for this project, B25Mitch is setting mod standards too high. Thanks for creating these vehicles .
Re: B-25 Mitchell Your work is so great I'm lacking adjectives to describe it ! This plane was my favorite bomber in CFS3. If you want me to get some data to compare, I'm available. The only thing that bother me is that the parts doesn't seems to have suffered a crash (looks like it have been dissasembled instead of ripped). Will this marvel have an interior ? Also which version of the B-25 is this ? Keep up the good work !
Re: B-25 Mitchell 1,000 B-25H variants(below) were produced with the 75mm cannon, and some of these were converted to PBJ-1's. You'll be able to choose either the H or J type nose from the Ctrl-W parts menu. (imported from here) As for the FW-190, look no further than here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/dora/. The damage model will be subject to tuning by the testers - I'm sure we'll come to an agreement as to how strong the plane should be. Note that the screenshot is the aftermath of a very hard, deliberate crash, not a forced landing by any means.
Re: B-25 Mitchell I love this thing on War Thunder and i'm sure i'll love it here! Great work B25Mitch!
Re: B-25 Mitchell But let's be real Sam, you are pretty damn good. It's ok to toot your own horn from time to time heheh
Re: B-25 Mitchell Seriously amazing. Really looking forward to getting this baby in game! I may just have to recreate the dolittle raid... Do you have plans to create other WW2 planes? (obviously after this one is finished)
Re: B-25 Mitchell Beta Testers, check your PM's - the first test version is in your inbox. (imported from here)
