I'm trying to make my first mod, and I was wondering if I could get help with Jbeam. I have the model in game but it doesnt have materials or interior carpet. No clue what I'm doing, and I got the slots to 'mostly' work in game but can't get it working fully. If you'd like to take a look be my guest. Everything in any way helps please and thankyou.
You need to name your meshes in Blender correctly and separate them properly. Additionally make sure to have all the correct slots in your custom parts.
Ill see what I can do --- Post updated --- I got the body and frame to work. Files are updated and now all I need help with is the materials, moving the bed, bumpers, axel back. Longer driveshaft, and other bits and bobs. If you could help me out that'd be much appreciated or point me in the right direction of what to do next
To move stuff back just change the nodeOffset and nodeMove properties. The materials you need to make sure are exactly the same as on the vanilla D-Series and it will be good.
Ill look into some tutorials. For changing the driveshaft length, should I just model that and add it into the slots too? And I assume just moving everything back with node will take the collision meshes with it?
