Clutch and brakes release when starting engine with keyboard.

I often play with keyboard in realistic gearbox mode, if I try to start while in first gear, it just stalls because it releases the clutch, I have to go into neutral every time which is really annoying, I also can't start the engine when I'm on uneven ground because the brakes release and I start rolling.

 

I think your keybinds are mixed up with the clutch and start buttons. Check keybinds in the game options then going to controls then vehicle.

I should've clarified that I start the car with the on screen button, beamng gets really confused with Dvorak for some reason so I don't know where a lot of the buttons are.
