Grippy Civetta Bolide... It's a solution to your Bolide traction problems. Do you want more grip for your Bolide? I just made a mod for that! Effects of the mod: - It will make the Bolide 320 understeer-ish, but will make it more fun to drive and forgiving. - It will make the Bolide 350 GT and 390 GTR a little twitchier (If you did something stupid), but it will make them less slidey and more drive-able. "Will this overwrite my default Bolide?" No. It will add another wheel option when you press Ctrl+W and grippy setups for the Bolide 320, 350 GT, and the 390 GTR (When you select Civetta Bolide with Ctrl+E). How to install: Place the "super" in your vehicles folder (Which is in your BeamNG.Drive folder) IT WILL ask if you want to overwrite "super_wheels_R _race" and "super_wheels_L_race". Allow it to overwrite because it'll add more codes and not overwrite the codes. Congratulations. This game is sort of based on realism. Also, could you please put a bit of work into your mods? So far 2/3 of yours have had 5 or less minutes of work put into them.
It is encouraged that you express your opinions for constructive criticism. It is not encouraged that you do so and sound like an asshole. Check yourself. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I sometimes just want to drive the Bolide (390 GTR) but it's undriveable to me (I'm using a keyboard)
Okay. Here is a more detailed explanation. Instead of simply changing the friction coef, add a new set of slick tires for the Bolide. This actually isn't super difficult, as the stock tire mesh does not have any modeled tread. Then, turn up the friction to a realistic level for slicks.
lmao you're all hating on this guy, there are not alot of mods coming out on this forum and imo this forum needs every modder it can get so encourage him, give him tips and don't criticize him so hard and insult him he has had the courage to upload his work here which is alot more than i could do and i respect him for that, who knows this guy might be a no.1 modder 1 day, that being said good job on the mod im always open for more things to add to drive for more hours of play
Except for those fact that you need no knowledge of jbeam to be able to do what the OP did, actual mods that require effort to do I would (and I imagine many others) love to see more of, but mods like this that anyone can do with no effort we dont really need, as once again, anyone can do it with no effort Sent from the 3rd galaxy via the talks of tapping
Your opinion, you don't speak for me brother. So what, an occasional tweak to something really simple that people have been bringing up forever. Out of thousands of members this guy does something simple to help. Why all the fascism? I'm not bashing the "brotherhood" as I totally understand that but invoking some sort of stupid unspoken "rule" against folks trying to do something is utter bullshit. Regardless of how trivial people think a mod is it's good that people are trying. Don't like it?...move on.
Its good that there trying, but they shouldn't upload these types of mods to the forums as anyone can make them, In this case its literally just 1 number Plus this is the beamng forums, a place where non-effort vehicles & mods tend to get hated on, A LOT for the exact reason ive said multiple times, anyone can do it Sent from the 3rd galaxy via the talks of tapping
I understand when someone puts up countless lazy two minute beam or friction tweaks as full mods, I get it. They should get their asses kicked. However I think it would be prudent to be respectful to noobs just trying things out and act like an adult when telling them what they are doing goes against the grain. Having the greater internet world thinking of the Beam community as total assholes isn't appealing.
I don't see why everyone is hating on this mod. If it ruins the realism of the game and you really want it to be as physically correct and simulator-like as possible, don't get it. No one is making you download and install this mod. If you don't want it, don't get it. Just stop complaining. I like this mod very much, I did like the idea of having a separate tire model from this mod and the original ones. The mod is fine how it is, but it can be better. Just my two cents, throw criticism at me if you please.
jarhead2012, Aboroath and caleb200790 - thank you for fighting the cancer of this forum. I mean it. Thank you guys!
Because this is his 3rd mod which constitutes absolutely 0 effort. His last "mod" was a preset for the covet with the springs removed, amazing. This one, change the friction value for the tyres, that requires editing 2 numbers, thats it. Actually I find it somewhat hilarious that the opening post is so lengthy for such a simple mod, alot more effort went into that OP than the mod itself. Ok, so he went back and fixed the covet one with some actual suspension which is lowered (although not tried it in game yet). But still I count it as a low quality mod and this time I will actually give something slightly more constructive. It overwrites original files. In my eyes, that is bad. I plain refuse to install mods overwriting original files. The covet rice mod includes a new hatch_suspension_F.jbeam and hatch_suspension_R.jbeam which contains all the original parts and then his added springs. Makes mod management harder and also leads to mod conflict. No need to overwrite the stock files when he could have easily created a hatch_suspension_rice.jbeam and put his 2 new parts in that on their own rather than overwriting stock files. Same applies to this bolide mod, needlessly overwrites base game files.
Cancer of this forum? Are you twelve? How does this forum have anything to do with cancer in anyway? Please explain. Cancer is a nightmare I've lost a certain someone to cancer, They did not die due to a little criticising. I just went though all your posts, Honey.
