Second town is now complete. It now includes few more houses, another rich house for incredibly flexy rich people, as well as a kart track for dads who want to see their kid racing. To release the map, i will finish few little things, first one is being this place which i mentioned prior: and this little place in one of the other towns on this map: Now for graphical suckers (didn't meant to offense anyone who's into graphical stuff), you may have noticed that the sand texture has changed a little, that's because i fixed one error in the texture, which disabled proper PBR texture display in ultra settings, once i fixed it, it now has full PBR. The map will clearly be released somewhere at the start of this year's Summer. so there's not much to wait now. See you all soon.
Maps is soon going to be public, not sure what date and what time exactly, but it is very soon. Now to answer the question for "Where?", i'll figure this out once i finish the map, and try few attempts

Just tested it, and good lord the map is big. I mean needless to say you did warn us, but maybe I just wasn't prepared on how large. I had to modify the camera speed inside a .lua file in order to view the other side of the map xD I know this is an insanely early version of the map, but my only gripe is that some of the roads are too narrow. But otherwise, you get what you download for! I like the buildings and overall layout of the towns. Looking forward to updates
Question, Will the highways ever be expanded? I thought they'd be like at least 500km long but they end quite abruptly --- Post updated --- Also, the roads seem to have really sharp edges, would be cool to add some sort of curbs or sidewalks to make them a bit more realistic
As for the first question, maybe i will expand them. As for second one, i cannot do anything with it, it's how mesh roads work.
Hello guys, i'm currently sitting here and updating the map, what i'm currently doing, is just adding a new airport, and also a new town, which is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR away from most of the spawn points. To get to that town, there are 2 ways, one is of course by a prepared car for long drives in 30+ degrees C (most cars with powerful engines will likely overheat if the radiator is not changed), or you can get there by using any air vehicle you have, as there will be an airport as well. And if you wonder how it all looks right now, here's the screenshots of the airport: And here's the remote town, no airport there because i only just started making it, note the dirt roads, as they're present to lay the mesh roads there:
Will the airport be expanded a bit? Looks fairly bland especially considering the modern runway. Also what about highway expansions? Are they coming in this update?
Airport is long enough for Antonov AN-12B to take off, that place is just intended for planes in the first place. As for highway expansions, no, not yet at least.
I'm talking buildings, a parking lot etc. I doubt a plane would be landing in the middle of nowhere with like 1 small shed
Making a more complex airports is really hard for me, so i had to do a basic private-styled airport. Also, the runaway style and the airport in general is styled after one of the airports located somewhere in one of the islands in Oceania (AKA the place where Australia is). So is the building layout.
Just Wondering, why did you put all the POI in the corner, why not in the middle. Its making everything shaky and stuff because its so far away from the middle.
First of all, the map is just an experiment, not a stable release, second, flowing point issue exists in the game, and it's not just to this map only, it applies to other big maps, and fixing it will take literally months to figure out and rebuild the game engine, which will break everything. Exploring limits of the game is interesting in some way, so making the map that gives you an ability to explore some of it. As for all of the Point of Interest, that's literally just the places currently available to explore with some occupation in them. The next update will add one town that's far away from those points that is currently present in the current version of the map.
